The Egusi soup with catfish, jollof rice and fufu are all really good. I absolutely love the Efo Riro with croaker fish and the Okoro soup. Whew, that’s some good eating. 🙂 The customer service is always great and look forward to going back really soon to try some other things from the menu that sound good. I love okra and the Okoro did not disappoint. So good. If you haven’t tried West African food, please do and mad that I’m just now getting started, however better late than never!

The atmosphere was very homey. My 1st time having African food and I was amazed at all the flavors that danced in my mouth. Fish was smoked and goat was perfect. Healthy choice to any culture!!!! I’ll be back!!!

First time trying Ayo and the food is very delicious. I would 100% recommend this spot to all my African food lovers and for anyone that wants to try African food.

I was on a hunt for okra stew today. Before coming to this location, I had Been turned down by two other locations with them not having the food I wanted and giving bad customers service. I called ayo as my last resort and was able to place my order over the phone. This was my first time there. My food was hot and ready as soon as I arrived. The lady working the counter had good energy and attended to me as soon as I walked in. Once I got home and ate my food, it was better than another place I had been going to for years, so I will be back … they gave me plenty of stew and the meat options in my stew were good in size .

I ordered Pounded yam and Egusi once here from DoorDash and the food was really good so I ordered a second time and was highly disappointed threw up the whole order.
I walked in and asked about my order and was told OK. I don’t know if there wasn’t enough spice or what but it definitely did not taste the same . Won’t be returning. The pounded yam was very wet and soggy, not used to that quality.

I ordered the Vegetable soup with goat and the flavor was amazing. They give u nice sized portions and the meat is very tender. It’s a win win

First time here. We chose due to the good reviews. Had to return the efo riro due to unchewable quality of the beef! Tried 2 different sharp knives to no avail! Owner did replace it with 2 pieces of fish, didnt say what it was . She just mentioned Americans like their meat softer, but we like to be able to eat what we order. (SMH.)
She gave us extra greens AFTER I mentioned we had to drive back 30 mins, etc. The greens were fine! The fish was dry (kind of like the owner’s response to our disappointment), but it was edible. We were sincerely hoping we found a new eatery, but sadly 100% No!

Emeka’s Turkey suya at Ayo’s restaurant was absolutely delicious. It was the right amount of smoky, full of flavor, seasoned well, and so unique. We kept making orders. You can’t miss out on this.

The suya meat is tough. To eat am be like fight. And how the heck is this $15? For a “half box”? And the meat is so tough?
Abeg, if you wan suya, you fit go cayce foods or even go up to kennesaw to get some decent quality and decent size.
My fault for not asking how big the box was. Thank good I didn’t order the dodo or I would’ve gotten like 2 pieces for whatever they’re selling it for…
