I am currently sitting in this restaurant waiting patiently for a manager to speak with me about my order.
I paid for an order of chimichangas, a taco with beans and rice. After arriving and asking the long lady at the counter about my To go order, she said another person was doing to go orders so I would have to wait for her. She came out after 5 mins and immediately took care of the person after me. I waited for her to help me after the other costumer was assisted, but she immediately walked to the back. Im super frustrated because I can audibly hear the staff ask someone to speak with me. (management) They have literally refused to even speak with me, Said they were “Too busy cooking.” Ive waited for a manager for about 15 mins. I ordered through post mates and it was a very simple and easy process. I received a text saying my order was ready and arrived at the restaurant 10 mins later. I waited 45 mins for this order. No one checked on me, and the only person that apologized to me was the girl who delivered my food. I had to ask 3 times for someone to check on the STATUS of my order. They informed me that it was not even made, after waiting with no service for 20 mins. I understand it is Cinco de Mayo, I am a former waitress from Texas, so I get that this holiday is big day for orders. However! The girls in the front neglected to keep up with the line, which is why I was skipped twice. No one, including the manager checked on me, nor asked if I had been helped. I am walking to my car now without even checking my food after finally receiving it because I could tell they just wanted to be rid of me at this point.
The chimichanga is ok, not crispy as I am used to so I assume they rushed it and didn’t let it fry for long. Queso sauce is sub par. I have not tried the taco yet. As a Texan I am usually happy with most Mexican food, so maybe this experience has tainted my tastebuds.
This was the worst service I’ve had in a very long time. My husband and daughter waited in the car with our groceries that included ice cream, which is most certainly melted at this point.
The servers were young, so I don’t attribute this entire situation to them. They have a very poor example of management. During the rush, I saw a cute baby in the kitchen on the floor, and a older woman with an apron eating chips. 3 server’s sitting talking while there was a “rush”, in plain sight of a manager that was too” busy” to even speak to a customer. Restaurant was clean, not many people seated, also no one working had on a mask. I have never written a review this fast! In the parking lot! Save your tastebuds and your feelings the trip. Management only cares about business, definitely not customer service.

My kids like this place but I’ve always thought it was ok. Last visit was not good at all. 2 of 3 orders came out incorrect plus much smaller portions than we normally get and the flavor was off. I like that they give high school kids in the area a chance to be servers but the service is usually pretty poor. They’re always friendly but usually don’t know what they’re doing.

High prices and the quality didn’t live up to what I paid for it. I don’t mind paying more if it’s going to be amazing.. but this was average. This was my second time here. The first time they never even came to get our orders so we left. I hate leaving bad reviews.. so I hope the managers take this as a nudge to step up their game. There are so few options on Signal that you can’t afford to lose what little business there is. Best of luck.

The establishment needs an overhaul in general. Kinda icky, like I was afraid to touch the salt and pepper shakers (they were grimy) The food was not special – typical selections and ingredients that you would find in any hole-in-the-wall Mexican eatery. Service was mediocre, high school students obviously not thrilled about their environment. They were very nice and attentive, and got the order right and delivered the food to the table without incident …. they just seemed more like service-zombies than human beings. Overall, I’d go back simply because there isn’t a better option on my way home and I have mouths to feed.

Living up on signal mountain there is not many places to eat. Though this is perhaps one of the best on signal! Can not wait to return and have more of their amazing food the atmosphere was perfect it was fairly quiet when we were there but I’m sure it can be just the opposite as well!

Generous portions and very reasonable prices. Taste was good but not great. Chicken in taco was shredded, not slices or strips- tasted like bulk frozen meat. Service was good.

The food here is always great. It is a very “at home” feeling Mexican Restaurant and I come here as often as I can. I usually get the Burrito Americano and the chicken is always great as well as the vegetables, queso, etc. Prices are also reasonable and I am overall very satisfied my experiences here.

Awful customer service and incorrect order. I ordered a chimichanga from Postmates. All I got was a badly made burrito that wasn’t even fried as described in the description. When I contacted the restaurant to let them know their mistake to watch out on future orders he just told me rudely to get a refund on Postmates and hung up. I never give bad reviews but this was ridiculous.

Recently ate here. Food was terrible. It tasted sour/spoiled and out of date. The young girl who came in after we arrived was helpful and friendly but the older gentleman who initially took our order was rude. I’m shocked this restaurant has decent reviews.

If you love authentic Mexican tacos, this is your place on the mountain. But get beer, not margaritas. For good drinks and atmosphere, go down the road to El Metate (but don’t expect good food there).
