Love it for pick up! delicious bento boxes and great sushi as well. Every order is always correct and no one had ever any complains and we’ve ordered from here for over a year.

Highly recommend, I’ll try to dine in when I can 🙂

Moved away but I still try and come back and visit when I’m in the area. I typically get the ichiban roll and chicken karaage, both of which I recommend. Servers and owners are always nice and welcoming.

BIG pieces of fresh Nigiri. I initially thought the price for Nigiri was expensive, until I recognized the amount of fish on each piece is nearly double the traditional size. The Sake (Salmon) was quickly seared for a light color, then cross hatched with a knife, very nice presentation. Prices for traditional rolls and specialty rolls are also at a premium in price, but plus sized as well. Edamame arrived piping hot (really hot) and within minutes, but expected since it was Monday night, and few attending at that time. Happy to return, remembering to order less to get more, for about the same price.

The sushi roll has a very good amount of fish and less rice which I love! The fish is fresh and the hamachi is so yummy!

I would say the miso soup is watered down and bland, other than that, all is good!

Nice sushi restaurant in San Carlos right by the Caltrain station. They have yummy innovative rolls. Price may be on the higher side for sushi rolls. Waiter was very attentive. Overall a good experience dining here. I look forward to trying their ramen next time I’m in the area. Note. The restaurant is closed on Sundays though.

One of our favorite places to go. Great ambiance and service. Portions are pretty big, and the cost is nice.

The food….. fresh as can be and amazing! The service, not so much. I was the only person in the entire place. My food sat on the sushi station for over 15 minutes while I stared at it from my table. Not one word from the waitress. Again, the only person in the restaurant. You would have thought the chef would offer me a little extra. Nope, very sad. I guess the takeout keeps them going. :/ Over $50 for one, again food was awesome!

Delicious sushi and tempura udon. Portion is generous, pricing on here is moderate to high in the area. It’s around the all you can eat price in the area.

Do note that leftovers you should bring your own to go boxes or pay $1 / each.

I have been wanting to try this place for years and keep forgetting about it as it is located in a small strip mall on the other side of the tracks (literally) so I tend not to think of that side of town for dining.
I was greeted immediately and sat at the bar. I have favorites I like to order in order to gauge the quality of the place and chef.
First, the disappointment: the futomaki was plain, uninspiring, and plain dull. Not worth the $14. And a futomaki is a traditional roll that allows for a lot of creativity. I have had some stellar futomakis. Not so here.
I had a bottle of junmai ginjo at $24 dollars. It was smooth… almost too smooth. The rice polish is 55%, same as one of my favorites, Kikusui junmai ginjo that has more distinct characteristics. While I have no complaints per se, I would look for something else next time.
The nigiri was very good. Good taste, generous cuts/portion size, and the uni was great. Very fresh. Thank you Santa Barbara!
I’d give the place a 4.5 to be more fair. I’ll be happy to go back, but with more realistic expectations.

Visited Galveston briefly and came here with a party of 4! We shared each other’s plates and had so much food, which was all incredible. The Pink Lady roll was amazing, as well as the General tsos. The staff was great as well.
