The staff at Ay Maria! Will ensure you leave with a smile on your face. There food tasted great that I almost picked the plate. The sweet tea did not disappoint and the waitress always made sure that we were good. It looks small from the outside but the inside has a lot of room. Besides this place is not a Jaliscos, so support your local mom and pop restaurants.

My first time coming here and it won’t be my last, I found a new favorite spot! I’m obsessed with queso blanco, it’s hard to find anywhere and they have it. It was delicious. I had their mini asada taquitos, they were so flavorful unlike most places. Their charro beans were amazing too! I love the decor here, it’s vibrant and the talavera they serve on is beautiful.

Well here is a run down of what we had.
We started off with the sopes which were decent 4⭐.
Then a taco de carne asada on a flour tortilla. 2⭐.
I had the street tacos with carne asada 1⭐.
The crane asada had no flavor, it was extremely dry and it was hard.
This is a newer spot so I hope they improve on the quality of food that the serve.
Overall experience 2.5⭐.
Just because I won’t be back, doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t give them a try and see what you think.

Beautiful restaurant. Super clean location. Large menu, breakfast served all day. Super nice and attentive severs. Large portions so come hungry. The Maria’s Quesadillas tasty the breakfast tacos are just okay. The salad is typical but fulfills the salsa fix. Overall, a decent Mexican restaurant with a great atmosphere.

Today was a first. As repeat customers who have been VERY vocal about how much we love this restaurant, we are extremely disappointed and can’t help but feel offended by our experience today. We decided to try their fideo but quickly realized the taste and smell was not for us. We didn’t see our server for some time since she dropped off our food, so we set the bowls on the next table and enjoyed the taco salads that we also ordered. When the server returned, we pointed to our full bowls of soup we set at the next table and explained that we’d like to return them as we didn’t like the flavor. Since English was not her first language, she thoughtfully carried out the conversation using Google Translate to make sure she fully understood our complaint. She went to speak to her supervisor and came back to report that they would not be removing the items from our bill as there had not been any previous complaints about the fideo. We then asked to speak directly to the manager. The manager came to the table, and I explained, using Google Translate that we didn’t like the fideo and would like them taken off the bill, all while pointing at the full bowls still sitting at the next table. She responded in English that the soup was good because no one else has complained. We responded that WE are complaining, so why does that not count? She was stern and insistent that it didn’t matter and we must pay. Then she suggested that we take the bowls to-go! We declined, pointing out AGAIN that we didn’t like the soup. We then met her at the cash register, where she asked us “is it all together or separate?” Then she rang us up for the not-so-cheap soups.

This was our first visit here. We arrived at about 1:30. There was plenty of seating. We got waited on quickly. The tables and the atmosphere is very pretty and the chairs are really comfortable. We got waited on quickly and only waited about 10 minutes till our food came out. I ordered the combination plate number 16, which had a Tostada, taco and enchilada on it. The beans we’re really good, the rice was good, the cheese enchilada was really good. The tostada was crispy and good, but even though I got to the taco second, one side of the taco had been completely soaked through and was too soggy to really pick up, but I was able to eat it and the flavor was good. Chips and salsa come to the table and the chips are nice and crispy and the salsa has a medium heat to it and it’s probably one of the best salsas I’ve had in a Mexican restaurant in this town. I asked for additional hot sauce and I was brought a green sauce and a red sauce. The green sauce was avocado based and had a real nice flavor to it, but had zero heat. The red sauce had a really great flavor to it, but it had a very mild heat. Not at all what I had expected. I asked for something hotter. They brought me pink sauce, which was habanero and mayonnaise based. The waitress told me to be careful with it. I tried it on a chip and I would rate that at a medium heat. Even though it was a good sauce. I would’ve preferred a hot sauce that wasn’t mayo based and one with more heat. Out of all four the salsa that came with the chips was the hottest and the best of the four. The waitresses were very attentive and eager to answer questions. The place was clean and somebody was constantly cleaning tables, sweeping the floor and staying on top of the dining room cleanliness. There are some other things on the menu. We are looking forward to try so we will definitely be back.

The food has always been good for breakfast but today we went for lunch. Service was fast and very nice which is a plus! This place reminds me of eating at my grandmas house. The only BIG downfall is the parking good god almighty it’s horrible when it’s busy you can’t find a place because the little strip mall is so small! Other than that the food is soooo good!

First timers…restaurant was nice, colorful. Waitress was nice and somewhat attentive.
I ordered two tacos, one was a carne guisada with beans and cheese. I took one small
bite and realized right away it was way over spiced. I asked to exchange it for something else, explaining to the waitress why. She seemed confused, and said no one has ever requested to exchange anything before. Went to talk to her manager and they said I could not exchange it. I was very disappointed because they would rather lose a repeat customer over a $3.75 than just make it right. Sad
