We found this place a couple years ago and keep coming back because it’s reasonably priced and has great chips and salsa. Our server Gloria was fantastic at keeping our drinks full and bringing everything out fresh and hot! We had the Parrilladas for Two and it was so much food, we will definitely have a couple more meals at home. Overall great experience as per usual!

One of the best dining experiences EVER! From the moment we stepped through the door, the service was most excellent. Everyone was exceptionally attentive to our every need, like one of those ‘high end restaurants’ you only hear about. But the food! Not only excellent and a lot of it, but the prices were quite affordable. Everyone here was fantastic. If we ever drive through the Spring Branch/Bulverde area again, this will be the first restaurant we stop in.

I spent $10.50 on a JUMBO chicken soup with no rice. The container is 9.5/10 broth and .5/10 chicken. I mean BARELY any chicken at the bottom as you can see in the picture. It comes with avocado and cilantro and there are only two tiny slivers of avocado floating at the top. Pretty ridiculous when I got the jumbo size. Basically spent $10 on broth. I’ve also been here in the past twice for potato, egg and cheese, breakfast tacos and both times the tacos were wet on the outside and dripping liquid which I’ve never had at any other place with potato, egg and cheese. I had stopped coming here because of that but decided to give them a try today but definitely won’t be back.

Back in San Antonio where we spent most of the last 30 years this past weekend and we wanted our share of Tex-Mex. In San Antonio, Las Palapas ruled the north side for 40+ years and then they franchised…out of those ashes rose Ay Chiwawa! (First one was in an old Las Palapas location). We went with a group of 20 and they sat us at one long table and two booths after a short wait. We asked for a table to be added when one became available and they forgot all about that. For me, Mexican food or Tex-Mex is all about the chips and salsa and these folks have great chips and salsa, however, the salsa is served in tiny little bowls that really don’t fit a whole tortilla chip. It was not long before we were out of salsa at our table. We had one waitress (bless her heart, because she worked hard) who worked our tables and even though we asked numerous times for refills, the salsa bowls remained empty much of the time. Drinks…she got most of the 20 correct except mine! I wanted sweet tea and got unsweet.
I ordered a beef fajita taco a la carte on flour tortilla and that is what I got. No onions, no green pepper! No cheese. Salsa would have sufficed if I had some but i had to wait so I also asked for some pico de gallo! Most everyone was done eating by the time my condiments arrived. That being said my taco was great, just a little cold! Everyone else seemed to enjoy their meal. My wife had a veggie taco and we were surprised it did not come with avocado, so she ordered a small side of guacamole and enjoyed her taco.
All in all a good experience especially for the whole group. The guy next to me was shorted part of his order but other than us two, everyone raved about how good everything was.

Always fast delivery from the drive thru. Friend you. Lots of tap to pay. It works with the regular debit push in the slot types as well. Just let them know before they try to tap first. Great tasting tacos of all flavors. Your going to enjoy your meal.

Awesome meal! Great service! Our waiter was friendly and very helpful. Our waiter was Christian. I recommend sitting in his area. We had the poblano enchiladas which are to die for. I got mine with onions on top of the enchiladas. Try it.

Every time I come through the drive through they make me repeat my order multiple times then always get it wrong. For what this place charges the service is really quite terrible. They can’t even find someone to effectively run a drive through window. Inside it’s not much better. If you order beef fajitas at the bar they serve you barely any fajitas at all and don’t give you enough guacamole or lettuce or tomato to put on the tacos and want to charge you for more. This place is full of incompetent people trying to rip you off.
