We ordered two margaritas and asked our server the difference between the regular Margarita and the Cabron Margarita. Our server said “bigger,” and an entire table heard her say, “beer.” I repeated “beer?” She said yes, and two of us ordered the Margarita. It was too much surprise to see a HUGE Margarita arrive at the table. We then all realized the waitress said “BIGGER” not beer.
Our waitress struggled to understand us and said she did not speak English.
We were given chips and salsa that we thought were complementary but were added to our bill. We ordered the nachos (19.00) and Cabron fajitas ($38.00) (chicken. Steak and shrimp) The nachos were good, but what came to our table for fajitas was something that was not even on the menu. It was steak, chicken, shrimp, crab leg, fish steak, squid, scallops, and clams. We also got a side of beans and rice. The beans were extremely salty and had hot dogs in it. The rice was hard and crunchy. The manager kindly replaced our food and the fajitas were good.
Be careful when ordering drinks here. There are no prices on the drinks, and the bigger than life drink was, as expected, after seeing it $35.00.
We would not come here regularly as the food was very expensive. Once split the bill for just my husband, and I was $127.00 for two drinks, chips and salsa, nachos, and fajitas.
Everything was over cook. We order burgers server never asked temperature on the meat. All came well done. Ordered a steak medium rare it came well done.
We let the server know and did not seem to care or offer any other options.
This place is way over price from what you are getting.
I ordered two drinks and my bill came out to $87. That’s completely unreasonable.
Refried beans…. canned pork and beans, the cheap kind with hotdog bits in it!
Spanish rice with ketchup for color and an attempt to disguise the over cooked crunchy rice…..along side the peas and carrots mixed in?….wait, what?
The enchiladas had been ordered as beef, and i received sour chicken covered in MARINARA SAUCE! I could almost taste the salmonella/e coli/Hep A pathogens throwing a celebration for the new host they were attempting to invade…. all this through a leather and difficult to cut through “corn-ish tortilla”…
The combo plate I ordered also included a “smoothered” (with what?) Borrito and tostada….. both had charred steak and a tostada shell pulled from the bag and stale…..
I took one bite of everything and washed it down (the items I didn’t spit into a napkin)with the $18 “Margarita” they conveniently list without any prices….. but I’d be willing to bet this tiny beverage came from a generic “Chi-Chi’s” bottle….
Followed by the server, who said it was his first day, telling us he’d never tried the food there? And he was sorry, but his boss reuired us to pay….even though the food was left in the table.
Save your money. Save your stomach. Save your taste buds!!!!
La cazuela es completamente deliciosa y el flight te margaritas , 100% recomendados!
