Awabi is now holding a “Korean food night” every Wednesday, so we had to check it out! The food was INCREDIBLE, as always. We LOVED the tteokbokki and the Korean Fried Chicken! Great restaurant specializing in fresh sushi, they do have many other delicious options as well. The staff here is very friendly and service was quick. Most sushi options have a slight twist with unique ingredients and flavor profile which sets it apart from other places in the area. The miso soup was outstanding and just the right size bowl. The beach house roll came with a butter garlic sauce for dipping which was a good alternative to soy sauce. Overall was very pleased with my visit, cost was a bit high but you are getting what you pay for with the quality, will continue to visit!

Fantastic place! An absolute gem! The owners, husband and wife were very friendly and outgoing. The sashimi was absolutely fresh and the portions were large! The sushi, rolls were also Fantastic! The presentation of the food was done with care. Awabi is well worth stopping in and eating at. We ate in their outdoors dinning area, the location is perfect. Great experience. Family running the place is super friendly. Menu offers a large variety of Asian dishes. Food took a little long, as it was a busy day, but we were offered some edamame while we waited. Sushi was fresh and delicious. Ambiance is very relaxing, especially outdoors when it’s nice out. Definitely recommend!

Some of the best sushi I’ve ever had! Every roll, even the classics, have their own unique twist. The Alaska roll and Vegas roll are my new favorites. Plus, everyone here is so kind and friendly! We will definitely be back!

Excellent excellent quality and experience. Gluten free options (safe for celiacs!), kid friendly and family-owned and ran. This is one of those amazing hole in the wall places that you want to bring your family and friends to. We’ll be back for sure! You can’t beat the customer service that helps new parents with entertainment for the baby or toddler with crayons and proactive offering of a high chair. There wasn’t any weird pressure related to discussing dietary restrictions (if you know someone who is celiac, they’ll know what I mean. This place is truly safe and welcoming), true Japanese hospitality that brang us back to our travels across Asia. I really liked the gluten free option of cooked blue crab California rolls. Reasonably priced. My husband can eat gluten and really loved the the Alaska roll. 10/10 cannot recommend enough. Our baby also loved the rice and pot stickers, hubby did too

Tastiest, most authentic Japanese food I’ve had since leaving Japan. Seafood dumpling appetizer was perfect. The Udon soup tasted so good and the Tunacado sushi roll was delicious!! Wish I lived closer.

The food was amazing we ordered 8 different rolls and all 8 were delicious! That never happens!!! The staff is beyond friendly and attentive. Our drinks were never dry and the conversation was alive! Can’t wait to come back!
