The tap root beer is the best. This A&W is a great resting spot from my weekly drive from Sheboygan to Stevens Point. Their deep fried cheese curds are better then Culver’s for sure. The burgers are good too. The have to have is straight up the Root Beer on tap. I bought a gallon of it to share with my family that live in Point. I just love it so much. The friendly crew are always ready to take my order and very clean dining area. Thank you A&W being the highlight on my drive. It’s a Win for Winneconne

Overall when I come in it’s fantastic service and food, so it hurts me to put this out there. The past few visits in the drive thru, the waits have been incredibly long. I understand there is indoor orders and making fresh food takes its time, however the traffic in the drive thru does not get delegated to the waiting parking spots next to the drive thu to keep traffic moving. Again, overall its a great restaurant and ill keep going back, but maybe going inside for (possible) faster service.

This place took me back to working at A&W as a teen in the 70’s. While the are no car hops, the food was excellent and the service was very friendly. Most importantly, the root beer is made on site. Be sure to dine in so you can properly enjoy your root beer in a frosty glass mug. Only critique would be the uninviting outdoor seating – it could use an umbrella or a tree.

Food is always good and fresh, but the drive-thru is EXTREMELY slow, even at 8pm on a weeknight when no one else is in line or in the store. I’ve never waited for less than at least 15 minutes. I don’t mind though because I’ve come to expect the long wait when I come here. But if you want “fast” food, maybe try somewhere else.

The staff at this location were friendly and polite. The food was decent, we all had burgers. I do not recommend the lemonade shake. My non-discrimitory 8 year old would not drink it. They received bonus points for the pup cup offered to our dog which was adorable!

Waited over 20 minutes inside for 2 coney dogs with onion rings. While one employee was outside smoking, the other employees basically were not cooking at all and staring at the screens. Once the said smoker came inside, things finally started moving. We could see our food under the heat lamp, and some of it was there for a LONG time When we asked what was taking so long on 2 hot dogs. We got nothing but attitude. Teach your employees to cook while you go smoke.

My friend and I came thru this evening around 655,
Not only were we charged for someone else’s entire order as well as ours. They charged us an extra 25 cents as well for cup of ice!!!! We had a full order and instead of charging us for the cup of ice they charged us for the order behind us too.
The supervisor “mattais” was very standoffish and had no compassion whatsoever. The girl was also full of attitude, this ruined our entire night. I would like someone to contact me for a full refund for both orders.. I understand if we came thru just for ice…. But we had an entire order. Your employees need to learn how to have better customer service all together.

I waited at the window (with zero cars in front of me) for over 15 minutes. No one came to say a word to me. No one updated me on the wait. Once the window opened, Nolan and another girl worker (who was standing leaning against the window for at least 5 minutes before they brought the food, snickered while handing it to me. I asked what the problem was and Nolan seemed to think it was fine to interrupt me n snicker while telling me it’s busy with an attitude. After trying to finish my sentence a couple times n being interrupted, I said my choice words and pulled off.
