I had a good experience at A&W. The food was fresh and prepared correctly, and the restaurant was clean and organized. Service was efficient and everything came out in a reasonable amount of time.

In the drive thru a half hour for a chicken sandwich no pickles and a regular fries. A half hour!!!! The lady gave a very lame sorry for the wait. But my first bite into that sandwich, getting a mouthful of pickle, really made me mad enough to make this review. That much time, $9.90 for a sandwich and fries and you can’t even get it right?????

I used to come to this location frequently for years on my drive back and forth to Appleton and I have never had a bad experience until today. We went here the other night after a football game 9/23/25. There was 2 or 3 cars in the lot and maybe one or two cars in the drive thru. We waited 15 minutes just to place our order and maybe 20 minutes to actually get our food (3 people). The burgers tasted burnt and my burger didn’t have all of the toppings. I just ate it anyways because we were starving and I figured going back up to the counter would result in another 20 minute wait. Most of the tables were dirty, and they closed at 7:00 when people were still just finishing their food. The person at the counter apologized for the long wait but that doesn’t make up for the terrible food.

First of all, I drive truck locally. I parked so that the people inside could see my 75’ long rig…. Walked past the drive thru window and smiled at lady inside, she smiled back. Get inside hoping to order and she says only the drive thru, I can’t take your order here. So I go to the drive thru window to order and all is good…. Only thing is it’s 30 degrees, rainy snow, 20mph winds…. Must have never heard of the word “EXEMPTION”. Next time I’m pulling right up to the window. Food was good and hot though…

The Double Bacon Crunch Burger looked nothing like the picture. The fries looked like they were sitting under the warmer for days. The chocolate shake didn’t have any whipped cream or cherry on top. Cheese curds were good.

Arrived around 6:10 on a Monday, 2 cars in front of us, didn’t leave the window until 6:45. There wasn’t much foot traffic inside so I am not sure what could have caused the 35 minute wait. Cashier didn’t give us our receipt upon request, cashier didn’t apologize or acknowledge the wait, and nearly gave us 2 wrong items.
