This is a long John silver with an A&W in one restaurant. You can order from anyone you like and also mix and match.. there aren’t many of these restaurants left across the country. I was pretty happy to see them and that too together. Food is good. They’re quick with it quality is as expected. It really takes you back. Prices are extremely reasonable. You will have a fulfilling meal here. The other fast food joints and try something different here.
I ordered from the A&W menu, specifically the spicy double papa burger. And all the veggies on the burger were extremely fresh and the fries are amazing. All For $10. Definitely better value & better taste as compared to a lot of the other fast food joints.

12/29: went to drive-thru and waited at least 10 minutes with no response. Two other cars behind me. Drove around a parked to order inside. A woman was parked next to me, in the closest spot to the entrance, and entered the restaurant just in front of me. Didn’t even hold the door open for me. She worked there! No smile, no acknowledgement of me. The epitome of poor customer service and unfriendly attitude. Taking the best parking spot should have been a clue to the service standards in the place. One young man inside was very nice and seemed to be handling both the front counter and drive-thru. Two otjer customers were waiting for their orders when I got there and were still waiting after I got my very small order. They didn’t look happy. There was an older guy, maybe the mamager(?), wiping down the counters, totally oblivious to the customers waiting, both inside and the drive-thru. Poor service and wait times are usually consistant here. Seem to be understaffed with near zero training or supervision. A couple employees are good, but just a couple. Store needs a new owner/manager who cares about customers!

Ok first and foremost the people who used the drive thru don’t understand how long johns works they were never and I mean never built for speed sure the argument can be made that times have changed but that is actually a valid reason for this when you are dealing with seafood you need to make sure it’s cooked properly or else you will get super sick second it needs to be prepared one meal at a time to get the best flavor of the food so again that is not the restaurants fault as much as the people who are ordering so overall this place is great but if your in a hurry then go somewhere else

Pull up to the window with only 1 car in front of us and wait for 5 mins to get our order taken. Told in the drive through line that they were out of strawberry milkshakes, no big deal, change to chocolate. Get to the window and are told they are out of ice cream entirely. At this time the food still isn’t even ready, so they send us around to park in the front where we sat for 15 minutes with no food in sight. Ended up taking over 20 minutes to get our food. If you’re looking for a quick stop off this is not the place for you.

Needs more staff and better management from the top. Food was ok, although it took over 10 minutes for two burgers. Dirty, dingy, and inefficient- the fast food joint of nightmares/the typically miserable conditions you see in cartoons. It feels like the A&W corporation just abandons these stores.

We went through the drive thru and they were having difficulty with their card reader. They swiped my card many times, resulting in a double charge. Of course, by the time I realized it I had thrown the receipt out. Fortunately, I was able to dispute the charge with my bank. It wasn’t a huge amount (like $30), but who wants to pay $60 for some drive thru hush puppies and burgers? I hope it didn’t happen to anyone else!

Absolutely awful. Used the drive thru which took way longer then it should have and ordered a chili cheese dog. This hot dog was black and hard as a rock. It looked like it had been siting for days. I had to throw it away as it was not edible. Not to mention my daughter’s root beer float had spiled over, and instead of getting a new cup we were let with a sticky mess.

Arrived at 8pm today. Asked for a burger. Was told the grill was already off and cleaned for the night even though your hours state you’re open until 10pm. Order just fries. Pull around. After 10 minutes of waiting behind one car, we left.

Small fast food restaurant. A&W menu and Long John Silver’s menu items. Can mix and match menu items. Convenient location in a shopping center off of route 340 in Charles Town. Friendly employees. Reasonable prices. Hush puppies are delicious.
