DISGUSTING! Complete rip off! I’m so disappointed. My burger was pure slop on a bun and looked nothing like the picture advertised. The clam chowder was so watered down and still with it being watered down I could taste that it was spoiled, it was so gross. The clam cakes were so small but tasted Ok-ish. The only thing I ate a couple of were the onion rings. It was so gross. I almost asked for a refund when I opened my sandwich in front of them. It was bad. I shook my head and let them know I do Google reviews and walked away. Truly disgusting. Mind you, the meal, their #1 ended up costing me $20 because I substituted the soda for a milk shake and the fries for onion rings, other wise it would have been $16 AND McDonalds and Burger King put these people to shame. It was like eating out of a garbage can. The meal was $20, the nasty “clam chowder” was $6, and the tiny edible (but not good) clam cakes were $6 (for half a dozen). I spent $35 on this garbage and only ate a few onion rings. I’m hoping I can upload pics from my laptop bc for whatever reason my iPhone isn’t giving me the option at this time but I promise I will try.

The lady who took my order knew I was highly disappointed. I made it very clear to her when I opened my bag in front of her and looked at the stuff and said “this is disappointing,” and then looked up at her and said “I do Google reviews just so you know”. She quickly turned away and didn’t say another word.

Have not been to or found an A&W restaurant in so long that I forgot how satisfying their root beer floats were as well as their food. Enjoyed their chili dog as well as their hamburger and fries. The service was exceptional. It’s a drive up where the server comes over to take your order and places it on your window. They also give you the condiment server not packets of ketchup etc. and serve your float in a mug.

Got a couple of hot wieners, all the way. Pretty sure I ended up with a slight case of food poisoning. Was sick for 2 days. This place used to be so good, one of my favorites, but they seem to have gone downhill recently. Not sure why. Service is still good at least.

The root beer at A&W Burger Shack is better than any root beer I’ve ever tasted. Yes, that includes A&W Root Beer In A Bottle. The burger was really good, definitely better than your average fast-food, but not something I considered to stand out from the crowd.

Excited to try out this burger chain based on the soda so you know I had to try the Root Beer freeze. First thing is that this place is cash only. It has some outdoor seating but, mostly you eat in your car. They come up to your window and take your order and deliver your food. Otherwise you can get out and order at the window. Fast service and unfortunately they had forgotten about my order as it had fallen from the order line. So to make it up to me they gave me another float. Similar to other fast food chains in terms of food quality and taste and if it wasn’t so far would definitely come again. Absolutely amazing staff at this location.
