Was good to have great service and truly flavourful food. Hence the second visit the following day.
My request to trade off the tortillas in exchange for roasted Jalapenos was greatly appreciated and they did not change any additional fees for doing this.
The chips are nice light and thin how I like them and the salsa is the perfect consistency and flavour.
I loved the Camarones a la Diabla as it was both spicy and filling and well priced.
The second meal was fajitas Texanas meaning steak , chicken and shrimp .
Once again as per my request Jalapenos were added to the sizzling skillet with the proteins.
I do wish the secondary plate with the rice, beans pico de gallo and Gaucamole was bigger and contained bigger portions. I also wish more shrimp were included on the main skillet and that there had been a greater effort to season the proteins. I ended having to ask for some salsa verde to add some needed flavour and they did charge 1.49 for the tiny dixie cup that arrived at the table.
The Service: Our server was not attentive and struggled to answer basic questions about which dishes were actually vegetarian. We ultimately needed the manager to step in to sort it out. I’m very grateful for the manager’s help—they were the only reason this wasn’t a 1 or 2-star experience. After the initial order, the waitress never returned to check on us, refill drinks, or offer dessert before dropping the check.
The Food: There are only a handful of vegetarian options available. We had the fajitas and the mushroom quesadilla, which were enjoyable, but the rest of the meal was underwhelming. The chips seemed like the “bulk” variety, and the Avocado-de-Gallo lacked the lime and jalapeño needed for flavor. Additionally, they charge for tiny sample-sized sauces that didn’t feel worth the cost.
Beautiful space, but the service staff needs better menu training and more proactive hospitality.
Seated right away, restaurant was not busy it was well decorated but could use a thorough clean, especially the floors. Service was pretty good.
Chips were not very fresh, salsa good flavor as well as the Chorizo cheese dip (has a good kick to it).
Enchiladas supreme were ok, seemed a little cold and the beef had an odd flavor, tasted more like a beef pate or potted meat. Rice and beans were decent along with the guacamole and sour creme salad.
Will be back, but not anytime soon.
We ordered taco salad, veggie quesadillas and cheese enchiladas. The veggie quesadillas were great. Portions are not too big just right amount. The staff was very courteous and willing to help.
The rice was like mashed potatoes l never see Burritos & Enchiladas look so bad. Meat was only warm & the nachos. the chips old saggy l live in Virginia & we have good Mexican restaurants there but this one looks like the Cook’s are from china.
When the chips & salsa are good, you know you can’t go wrong with whatever else you decide to order:) will definitely be back again & agan
-Prices seem a LITTLE HIGH for the quality.
-Server was attentive, with a little language gap.
⭐ I enjoyed my Chile Relleno. The poblano pepper had just a little spark of spice & was delightful.
