Reliable sandwich/wrap/toast spot. The servings are big, ingredients taste fresh, and flavors are balanced. Nothing special, but every neighborhood needs a spot like this! Seating is tight inside but probably could fit 10-15, and there is more seating outside. Feels kind of lame that they charge a few cents more for a wheat tortilla.

Breakfast Crunchwrap was fantastic. I subbed for a spinach tortilla and added steak. I’d recommend adding a protein. Then also got Healhty Juice B – fresh! No bathroom but nearby establishments have one.

We were hankering for an early breakfast. Stumbled on Avocado Toast on Yelp. You order your food and drinks on their “large ipad” system in front of the counter. Food is prepared in the back and is fairly quick. There were not many patrons ahead so we received our order fairly quickly.
The food was ok. We ordered avocado toast with smoked salmon and a breakfast sandwich with sausage. It was a little pricey for just two items (over $26 for two items).

Awesome breakfast options ! The breakfast crunchwrap is really good and so is the OMG breakfast burrito. They offer vegetarian meat option which is great and pretty rare for some reason , the soy chorizo is good not too spicy but has a kick and the beyond sausage is good as well. Nice to see place offering vegetarian breakfast options. I got it to go , food came out fast and hot and the staff was super friendly. Overall great experience I went back twice in a week would highly recommend.

I like this place for a nice walk and breakfast. Staff was friendly, bi-lingual English/Spanish. The toast is not exactly as I remember it. It was better, but still good. I wish they had better coffee, but we went next door to 3 bees. A perfect combination.

Super friendly service. Nice ripe avocado and as you can see from the picture, a perfect soft boiled egg. I ordered to go, and they carefully packed it with a layer of parchment so the top piece of toast wouldn’t get egg or avocado on the bottom side. My girlfriend ordered the bacon, egg and cheese croissant that was also delicious.
Price was very reasonable, no $10 avo toast here.

It’s a very assembly feel experience.
No cash accepted, input your own order into the machine that requests a tip for you to service yourself (note we did leave a cash tip in the jar for the sandwich maker but not going to tip a machine).
The avo & egg toast looked pretty, but the “hot” sauce was a premade squirt of something bottled not an in house sauce and wasn’t a fan of the flavor. Needed salt.
The breakfast sandwich that came with bacon – it was bacon crumbles not strips and it lacked substance as well as flavor.
The bread was fresh – the best part of the experience.
It could have used a little more seasoning and for the price an included slice of tomato & onion would have been fair. The price would then be okayish, but as it is its a little bit high for what you get.

Wonderful little place in the heart of San Mateo downtown. Simple interior and simple menu always have special charm for me. They serve variety of breakfast as lunch items. Mostly sandwiches, salads etc.
