You can not go wrong no matter what you order at Avila’s El Ranchito. We have been here many times for dinner but this time we went for lunch and ordered off the lunch menu. There were great options for that will surely fill you up, especially while enjoying their perfectly thin and crispy, served-warm, tortilla chips and salsa. I have been to all of their locations, but this one that is located in the heart of Huntington Beach is my favorite. Great, friendly, fast, and attentive service is also greatly appreciated. Parking can be a little difficult depending on the day and time. However, that is to be expected at any beach restaurant.

This was my first time to this location and I have to say I was pleased. The Food was delicious. The service was outstanding. They came by a few times to make sure we had everything we need. The margaritas looked amazing although we didn’t have one on this trip. We will be back. And we will have a Margarita to put it all together. Overall this is a good spot if your looking for something to eat on Main Street.

Top notch service and Mexican food… Best shrimp Fajitas ever! The vegetarian bowl my daughter ordered was a hit. Delicious skinny margaritas, although I have them add more club soda and fresh lime because it gives it a nice lift.
The servers and manager were especially welcoming, wow! Such a friendly and cohesive team… it was a cozy fun place to spend a lovely dinner by the ocean.

The food wasn’t bad but not like wow either; good. My mom got Mari’s quesdilla and it only had a few shrimp. I got the chingalinga. We waited way too long for the third plate and different servers had come by. There were forgotten orders too.

Great location on Main Street to people watch and enjoy good food. They have an outdoor seating area and even the indoor area is very open and airy. The crispy beef tacos and chicken Enchilada were delicious! Service was friendly and prompt.
