The food is so authentic and cooked from scratch. We ordered beef soup, the grill and Patacon Avila, a two layered sandwich with fried plantain instead of bread, stuffed with pulled beef and ham and cheese. Everything was so tasty. The owner was so helpful and warm, we feel at home. This is more like home cooking. Try their empanadas too, they were light and flavorful with corn shells.

Avila Restaurant delivered an amazing dining experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely outstanding and full of authentic flavor. The beef soup was truly to die for—rich, comforting, and packed with flavor in every bite. It’s the kind of dish you keep thinking about long after you leave.
The empanadas were equally impressive—perfectly cooked with a delicious filling and a crisp, golden exterior. You can tell a lot of care goes into preparing them.
The steak and onions was another highlight. The steak was cooked beautifully and the onions added the perfect amount of sweetness and depth, making the dish incredibly flavorful.
Between the incredible food and the overall experience, Avila is definitely a place worth visiting. If you’re looking for authentic, flavorful dishes that hit the mark, this restaurant will not disappoint. I’ll absolutely be coming back.

Disgusting food. Ordered a bistec a caballo and I didn’t got anything close. First forgot to put the fried egg, second the meat completely salty with a bunch of burnt onions. Yuca frita and tostones completely greasy and soggy. Plus everything was cold when I got my order. Such of waste of money.

The food was so delicious that I did a happy dance while eating. We had the chicken and beef empanadas, bistec, shredded beef, & rice pudding. They gave very generous portions and the dipping sauces were so tasty! Everyone that worked there was so kind. Our waiter went above and beyond to answer all questions about the menu. The prices were also great.

This was my first time here at the recommendation of a family member. Upon entering, the owner was very kind and immediately welcoming. Has a wonderful attitude and takes great pride in the restaurant. The vibes and atmosphere are perfect and the food was amazing! I got the Arepa with shredded beef and cheese and my FIL got the Cuban sandwich! Definitely recommend this place!!!

We’re so happy we found Avila! Since moving here from Miami, we’ve been searching for good Latin food in the area-and this little spot absolutely hit the mark. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The prices were very reasonable, and the entire experience was warm and welcoming. We’ll definitely be back to try more from the menu!
