Aviator Pizza & Drafthouse is a great spot in Mueller when you’re craving quality pizza with a relaxed, neighborhood vibe. I stopped by for lunch and ordered a 9-inch chicken fajita pizza, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. The dough tasted fresh, with just the right amount of crunch, and the crust was so good that I actually finished the edges—something I rarely do at places where the crust feels like an afterthought.
The team was very accommodating when I asked to swap tomatoes for artichokes, which I always appreciate. That flexibility, combined with quick service, made the experience smooth and enjoyable. The flavor balance on the pizza was spot-on, and you could tell the ingredients were thoughtfully put together.
They also have a strong selection of drinks, and judging by what others were ordering.
Many regulars seem to love the laid-back atmosphere, generous toppings, and the variety of specialty pizzas available. It has that approachable, family-friendly feel while still being a solid choice for casual hangouts or game days.
All in all, a very positive experience. With such a diverse pizza menu, I’m already looking forward to coming back and trying a few more options. Easily a reliable go-to in the Mueller area for satisfying, well-made pizza.

So delicious everytime! Today we stopped in after an event at which craft and had such an amazing experience. While we were indecisive because everything sounded so good the manager was so sweet and helpful.
We got the south Austin pizza and holy crap SO GOOD! Great quality prosciutto and goat cheese and the balsamic vinegar dressing made the pizza.
So happy to have a great pizza place with awesome people in the neighborhood!

Went to Aviator Pizza & Drafthouse right after a trip to the Thinkery with my 2-year-old — the perfect way to end a busy morning.
I tried the chicken fajita pizza for the first time and loved it. My little one had a cheese pizza, and she devoured it. The pizzas were seriously amazing, and the brews hit the spot after chasing a toddler around.
Pretty sure this will become our new tradition: Thinkery → Aviator Pizza. Can’t wait to come back!

Every time we stop in at Aviator Pizza & Drafthouse we receive the best customer service. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and attentive. It’s easily the best pizza we’ve found in the Mueller area. Highly recommend checking this place out!

Good spot to pop in for some delicious pizza. I had the fully loaded (they don’t skimp on toppings) personal 9″ pizza called Ground Control it was delicious but my pizza could have used just a touch more sauce as it was a bit dry despite the much appreciated toppings ratio. My daughter had the 4 cheese personal and she loved it and nearly ate it all except for 2 pieces. We both split a Caesar salad with our meal and a fountain drink. It was good pizza. The dough was very light and airy mouth feel with a slight sweetness to the dough and yet had a crisp bottom and held up to the loaded toppings. This is hard to do. So bravo. Great price for the personal pizzas and lots of variety.
My only issue is that the restroom was pretty dirty and none of the toilets flushed well. I literally had to remove the tank lid to make sure the basin would fill so I could flush . As every stall was filled by a previous person’s visit and I’m just not that person and leave places better TMI I know but otherwise it would have been a lot of paper stacked in those bowls because they didn’t flush. So this the otherwise one less star.
My daughter and I agreed and said we’d go again plus there’s another location up north closer to our house since we went here after a UT basketball game so it’s good to know there’s other locations in town

We popped into Aviator Pizza on a whim, and it did not disappoint! The toppings were generous, the crust was perfectly delicious, and the small Greek salad was surprisingly large. The pizzas are huge—already looking forward to going back!

Nice cozy Pizza place in Mueller. It surely lives up to the review expectations. The staff is friendly and welcoming. They have good selection of . I wanted to try Chicken Fajita pizza and it was different, good, had bit of Indian food touch may be because of cilantro. The food arrived promptly. I will surely go back and try other pizzas.

Went with work peeps. Very convenient to the area. Prices are reasonable and the food is great. Fantastic selection. The smoked ham and cheese grinder was awesome. Smoked potatoe salad was really good. The sausage and pepperoni callzone was delicious and a lot for one person. Salads, pizzas all good. Parking is pretty decent. We will continue to visit both the Mueller location and S Congress.
