Deals are pretty good and nice environment here. Can get a good drink for the low and the pizza at a decent price. My only complaint is the pizza should maybe be cooked a bit longer at a lower temp maybe. Soft and doughy on the bottom

Average Joe’s has been a highlight of my week for about a year now. I love getting wings and having affordable drinks with friends and loved ones. The servers there treat you well and the food is always hot and fresh. Wednesday wing night has become something I look forward to every week as a way to unwind and get through the back half of the work week. I like that I can get cheap food on most places’ trivia night and not be bombarded by too much noise and activity and watch sports games with great people but not an unruly environment.
I’m big into wings and the grilled wings are fantastic. There’s a good range of sauce options and they pair well with the crinkle cut fries.
Anyone that loves mini corndogs will be glad to know their portions are insanely big so come hungry.

I went during the day, so my experience wasn’t necessarily the same as other bar goers. Good service, plenty of TVs if sports are what you’re into, free popcorn, and I was glad they didn’t just have the standard domestics on tap. Overall, not a bad experience. I hear tales that their food specials aren’t too bad at all, but I didn’t partake though.

Tuesday dinner, came in a little after 7pm, food didn’t come out until 8:45. The waitress took our order and then seemed more interested in what was happening on the street outside and chatting with other employees than checking on our food, drinks, etc.The free popcorn is nice, but only does so much. I ordered wings which came out buried beneath a lake of sauce. Maybe this was an attempt to cover up that they were burnt through. Also, my group was surprised to find out that they charge a 4% service fee to use our credit cards. Not pleased overall and don’t plan on returning.

We enjoyed the cocktails and the service. Great bartender that day. Saturday afternoon drink special $5 kettle one drinks, what a fantastic drink special. We did not order food, but the food being served look delicious. I will be back. Eat, drink have fun!!

Update Dec 2024. Their wings are amazing. Full of meat and flavor. Others are full of breading. I will stand by my statement if best wings in Indiana till I die. Please keep doing what you do Avg Joes, you are above avg in every way!
