Food – the best. No question about the quality and value. Both the Santorini Dinner and Flounder were ordered from the Chef’s Selections menu for that evening. These meals came with a large salad and choice of dressing. But, for the entrees, they were exquisite… fantastic flavors and perfectly cooked.
The one major error was that the spinach and pasta were supposed to come out with the flounder. They came out after our plates were being removed. When pointed out to our server, she said, “You can enjoy them tomorrow.” That is bush league policy and service, isn’t it?
Despite this, we will probably return.

This place is so good! The food is delicious and the atmosphere is so cute. We got the pasta and it was amazing!! I want to come back and try all the different sauces since we only got two meals. The parking is great too. We only got takeout so we will have to come back and dine it because it looks so pretty inside.

We wanted to try a different restaurant in the Blacksburg area and came upon Avellinos. Tucked away off the main street it was a great find. We were seated right away and served a basket of bread and seasoned olive oil.. Our server, Helen, was friendly and efficient. The house saIads were brought out quickly and were good. I had the gnocchi – delicious- my husband had a combo plate of chicken parmagana, spaghetti and a manicotti- also very good. The portion size was perfect to have a little left for later. So happy we tried this restaurant. We plan to return and bring our family.

My company ordered for a company lunch. So I was not in the resteraunt to judge the service or atmosphere. We had lasagna, chicken broccoli alfredo, puttanesca, primavera, spinach and arugula salad, caesar salad, and garlic twists. All of the food was amazing. My favorite was the Alfredo. Which was the first pan emptied. So it was a big hit. I highly recommend this restersunt and now that I know where they are I will visit in person. So good do very good.

Love this place for couples and large groups, my go-to for gatherings. They have a few choices for my gluten free and dairy free food allergies and really appreciate the helpful staff and management here. The music is old fashioned Italian inspired and part of the charm. Great food with large portions. Highly recommend and their patio is nice during the warmer months.

My husband and I have eaten here multiple times now, whether it’s to celebrate birthdays, our anniversary, date night, or get together with family, and the food has always been delicious and fresh, our orders are always correct, and the service always fantastic. We highly recommend this spot for any occasion. You can’t go wrong with ordering here-everything we and our family has tried has been amazing.

This was once my favorite restaurant. Last night my friend ordered a dish with eggplant. It looked disgusting. The eggplant looked like fish skin. She knew it was not the servers fault so she asked to speak to them manager. He came to the table

I sat at the bar with some friends and had a special. Our bartender was very busy, but she prioritized our needs and questions while assisting all the servers with their drink orders. I had a soup appetizer she suggested when I didn’t want a salad, and it was so good. It was an excellent recommendation. She also knew what was made with egg and didn’t need to ask the kitchen. I have an egg allergy so that made me feel very at ease. Highly recommend Avellinos.

Their minestrone soup included a gluten free option ( no pasta) it was nice to have that option available. It was really good. Then I ordered the salmon salad it didn’t disappoint! It fresh and tasty.
