We craft every cup with care, from blended fresh fruit flavors and milk teas made with lactose-free dairy, to our newly added organic brewed Vegan-friendly iced and hot teas, all of which can be topped with our chewy tapioca pearls made fresh daily or other premium toppings. We also offer make-your-own noodles onsite and gourmet crispy rice treats and locally sourced baked goods, as we aim to deliver playful, today‑and‑everyday treats to everyone in our community. Our focus is on quality over quantity — with locally sourced fresh fruit, and ingredients especially curated from around the country, and the globe. This past April was the very first time trying this location which is obviously the original location. First time in general was at the Vernon Hills location which sadly closed shortly after the pandemic hit.
My family and I were leaving Old Orchard Mall and exploratory me loves to trek out and try new restaurants and bubble tea parlors so that’s how we ended up here and glad we tried it.
The bubble tea is really good here and exactly like the other location as I remember the great taste. My son who’s now 9 years old has been drinking bubble tea since I introduced it to him just before he turned 3. He only drinks Taro and if any bubble tea parlor we visit doesn’t have it then he won’t drink anything.
Boba is definitely a growing trend and keeps on becoming more & more popular with parlors sprouting in various cities and towns across the country in particular large metro areas. I hope for continued success & prosperity for the owner(s).

Been coming here for years. Bubble Tea has always been consistently good and (in my opinion) is the best you can get in the area. The space inside is small, but cozy. Staff have always been kind and helpful. They’ve recently expanded into instant ramen and upgraded to self service ordering screens and I’m wishing them the best for their continued success!

Long-time customer, but this was frustrating. I was charged an operating fee just to order at the counter apparently to cover their new POS system. No signage, no warning.
They also quietly killed their punch card loyalty program and refused to transfer existing rewards to the new digital system. I don’t even know how the digital points system works because I didn’t sign up for it nor were there any signs.
It feels like nickel-and-diming loyal customers while removing benefits. That’s not how you build goodwill. I’m definitely not returning, ever.

Long time customer here, after going to Avalanche for so long I just love to see innovation ! The change from the paper punch cards to a digital point system is so easy and friendlier. The staff here is so polite and understanding, they go through every detail with you and explain everything thoroughly. I’ll definitely come back, and continue to come back !

It’s a bit tricky to find. Place offers a calm atmosphere, with soft music in the background that won’t drown out conversation. The space, however, could use a bit of freshening up – the smell was slightly off-putting, but it wasn’t overwhelming. The flavors are okay. These aren’t Taiwanese bubble tea so don’t expect something similar to kung fu tea. This is more of a blended bubble tea (artificial flavor + ice + tapioca). Definitely not worth the price.

i love avalanche and i always come here with my friends and the workers are always so welcoming! they have the best bubble teas and if you want tapioca, it’s already free! i also love that they have a ramen station now too!

Love this place! It’s definitely the hangout for teenagers in the area. Getting any flavor “Avalanche” makes it super creamy and delicious. I recommend the purple Oreo! Service is always friendly and consistent. I’ve stood in line out the door for this place but it usually moves fast
