This review is for the new coffee inspired cocktail bar at Ava in Tigard. This is exactly what Tigard needs. The bar is beautiful and the food and coffee drinks were excellent. Service was very attentive and friendly.

my bagel was fresh and delicious, and the oat milk latte hit that perfect balance of sweet and rich. the staff were friendly, quick, and really knew their stuff when i had a few questions.

i’ve been a big fan of ava coffee for a while, and it’s awesome to see another bright new location here in tigard, they’re keeping the same great vibe and quality the brand’s known for!

Beautiful coffee shop, delicious treats and the iced coffee was so fragrant! Plenty of outside seating to enjoy the sun, as well as roomy space inside to relax. I will make it a regular stop

I don’t think this place will last very long…
Rudeness, stale old pastry’s, mediocre coffee and way over priced for what you get here…

The young lady at the register seemed very kind and knowledgeable. So nothing against her..

However, the older lady behind her making the coffee and getting the pastry seemed like such a winch. I’m assuming she is the owner… the whole time I am ordering she was giving me a death stare, not once did she say hello, or smile or anything. She was truly giving me the worst look. On top of that when she got my order wrong and I kindly asked for the correct order she snatched it from me and rolled her eyes. Then when I was receiving my coffee she was very visually upset with me for whatever reason. Mind you this was my very first time here… I wasn’t obnoxious or rude or any of that sorts. If I was a B then I could understand the rudeness. However I am very close to this business so I wanted some healthy interactions… I didn’t get that…
So outside of the rudeness. My order and my friend’s order of pastry’s were very stale tasting a few days old. And hard to even chew. The coffee was mediocre…. And the price for all this was way too much. I absolutely will not be going back here. Every other place of business on main street is very very kind and family vibes so it’s hard to walk in to a business on the strip that has a stale woman working/owning the business… I gave two stars because of the young lady otherwise I would have one stared this place..

One of my favorite spots in Oregon! An incredible family run business with some of the friendliest staff in town. If you like good coffee and great food, this is the spot for you.

Employees were like zombies, clearly didn’t want to be there and it definitely reflected in the service. Names weren’t even called out when drinks were ready, just sat on the counter…. nobody knew what was going on. Drinks were more expensive than average and mediocre. The location is perfect but too bad another business, a better one, didn’t take it’s place. Their other locations aren’t great either and the reviews show that yet they somehow have the capital to expand. Don’t think I’ll give em another chance.

Ok maybe a little expensive for the food. But I was looking for places to study late and this was definitely a gem. They close at midnight. I never really ordered much but every time I did order the employees are extremely nice and friendly. Home-y vibes.

This place is a rare miss for Ava. I love their other locations and was excited to have some decent coffee in dt Tigard. You better already be walking in the area cause there is no parking. For what is essentially 3 businesses. The lot across the street aggressively tows and Ava is not a part of them. If you do get inside, be ready to wait. I’ve never had a wait less than 5 minutes to just order let alone the next 10 minutes+ to get your order. It has no connection to how busy they are, the somehow make themselves overwhelmed with every single transaction. A lot of wasted potential.
