We almost walked past this place, looks small from the outside… but you step inside and much bigger than you think, with every corner decorated uniquely.
I got the build your own omelet and it was so delicious. It came with potatoes and a slice of toast. The serving was large and matched the price. All tasted fresh, bursting with flavor, and we were 100% satisfied.
The service was great, everyone had a smile on their face and the waitress was timely.
Atmosphere was wonderful, quiet, cute, unique. Lighting perfectly dim. We will come back to try the soup and grilled cheese sourdough sandwich.

So glad I was finally able to try this place with my husband last night! The food was absolutely outstanding and I could tell the ingredients were fresh. I got the basil gnocchi and my husband got the salmon piccata. We also split a beef tenderloin. Everything was cooked to perfection and we will definitely be back Wednesday nights to enjoy some more!

We had a fantastic brunch here recently. The staff were friendly. They have a nice bar area and several tables inside. The short rib benedict was phenomenal. The two-egg breakfast with bacon, potatoes, and sourdough toast was tasty. Great flavor and portion size.

Busy, vibrant place with a short wait (well worth it). Staff at every encounter were first-class – all hustling to provide an elite level of service. Salmon Bruschetta was my choice from a truly diverse and unique menu — and it was exceptional! Partner had a BYO omelet and we both had the house potatoes, which were awesome. Abundant servings but we had no leftovers. Food like this can’t be described — it must be experienced. First visit, but certainly not the last. Can’t wait to return and try my second choice on the menu – Meatloaf Sandwich.

Always a tastebud’s delight. Their menu offers an excellent twist on comfort and classic foods with options for all food enthusiasts including vegetarian and vegan options. Their coffee is smooth and flavorful, their Bloody Mary is top notch, and their beer selection is pleasantly satisfying. Their staff are down to earth, friendly and attentive. Their restaurant is always welcoming and clean. Food is consistently amazing. I highly recommend.

What a nice restaurant! Very chic atmosphere and the food is to die for. I got the Cheese Risotto Cake with Spare Ribs on top and a 1/2 house salad. In all honesty, the cheese risotto cake with Short ribs might be one of the best dishes I’ve ever eaten. Definitely check out this restaurant if you’re a local and haven’t been or if you’re just in town visiting like me

Author’s lives up to hype when it comes to flavor for sure. The short rib empanada was damn delectable. Pretty sure I could eat a baker’s dozen or so. The eggs benedict were also tasty. Overall, my only issue was with the portions. Admittedly, I eat like a pig, so there’s that. Anywho, be sure to add 2-3 empanadas to your entrée if you are similarly afflicted. Word to your moms, they got flavor bombs… Friendly staff and cool place, too.

This was our first visit, we came in for breakfast right at opening on Monday. Erin greeted us and was very polite and welcoming.

The restaurant gives off a comfortable homey feel. The music choice was good, the volume loud but not obnoxious to where we couldn’t talk across the table. We admired the artwork and fixtures and even enjoyed the random coffee mugs they seem to use.

The menu although small had lots of options, we were able to chose from the entire menu even though it was only 8am. We went with the burrito bowl and the Skillet, the special of the day. Both came out looking very appealing. The dishes tasted fresh and flavorful. The toast with their homemade jam and butter were my favorite part. Everything was so delicious. The bread pudding was suggested to us at the end of our meal so we split a slice, very good.

Service was good. She checked on us enough but also let us enjoy our meal and conversation. The cost wasn’t terrible, about what to expect these days while dining out. We will return!

I have never experienced such poor and discriminatory customer service. I decided to visit this place based on the positive reviews and wanted to support a local business, but I left truly disappointed. I arrived around 10 a.m. on 12/18 for a quick lunch during a work break. Two women ahead of me were greeted immediately and seated, but when it was my turn, the host/server with a low bun looked at me, ignored me, and continued working as if I wasn’t there.

When he finally acknowledged me, I explained I was on my lunch break and asked what I could get quickly. His response was dismissive, saying everything would take 20 minutes because they were busy. As I tried to place a to-go order, he walked away mid-conversation to assist other tables and continued to ignore me afterward. I waited, but the disrespect was too much, so I left.

A business with this kind of reputation should absolutely train their staff in basic customer service, respect, and professionalism. Unfortunately, I will not be returning.

Hands down the best place I’ve eaten in Appleton in years. We had the fettuccine Alfredo and the Scottish salmon with toffee cake for dessert. We also had a cocktail before dinner. The food was moderately priced but tasted Michelin 5 star. The atmosphere is chic casual and a great place for a date or special occasion or not. The service was good but honestly who cares if the food is this amazing? We will definitely eat here again. I didn’t ask about catering but would definitely cater a party or business meal if that was an option. They do have a room for groups as well.

Round two one month after my first experience. Outstanding food. Excellent service. This time I had the Halibut special and my wife had the chicken parmesan. Arancini appetizer is awesome. Victoria (our server) gave us excellent advice and wonderful non intrusive service. The food is fresh. Served hot and delicious. If you are eating in downtown Appleton this is a place you should not pass by.
First time I have had an opportunity to have lunch service. Again the food and service was outstanding. I had the salmon ABL sandwich and my daughter had the special salad bowl. Outstanding.
