Update: Back for Snowbird Season 25 and Austons food & staff never disappoint! Jessica runs a fantastic place with a fun vibe! Updated the Atmosphere as they upgraded chairs and tables this year! Gouda grits, Shrimp Cocktail, Blueberry Bread Pudding some of our favs. Original: Great local place in Miramar Beach area that has good menu range with focus on seafood. Great daily specials (had the gumbo last visit and it was great & spicy!). Oysters are always fresh and beer is always cold. Plenty of draft options. Service is great as the staff manages busy crowds in season and very friendly in off season. Enjoy!

Visited this restaurant Saturday night and this is my second time going to this particular place. First time (we ate on the patio) we probably ordered two dozen oysters, 2 entrees, several drinks, this time (ate at the bar) it was near closing so we did Chipotle oysters, pulled pork sandwich for the mister and I had sautéed cabbage (It wasn’t bad but I didn’t like it much) broccoli and cauliflower and grouper which was seasoned to perfection, the fish was moist and I had the specialty drink “The Auston) with 151 proof soaked cherries. Overall great experience both times, our server was friendly and I’ll definitely be back. It was loud (College football) but we could still talk, great atmosphere

The raw oysters were very fresh and delicious. However, the clam chowder we ordered together tasted off, as if it had gone bad. When we mentioned it, they kindly took it off the bill. Everyone was very friendly, which we really appreciated.

We had made oysters, fish, tacos, gumbo, and the Austin‘s drink with drunken cherries good grief. It was so good then live music to entertain us. Amazing family, friendly atmosphere. All of our waitresses were so sweet.!!!

This is our first time here, we are impressed with how tasty and affordable the food is! A platter comes with 2 sides and 2 little fried balls for only $30. Such a great deal! We love the warm, crispy batter outside with the fresh seafoods inside. The oysters, scallops, shrimps and fish, they are so delicious. It’s not easy to pick a favorite because everything was too good! There were a lot on our plates, we had to take out for later. Our server is very friendly, we felt welcomed here. We had a great time over here with the lovely vibe, listening to live music, enjoy our amazing food <3 We will visit again when we’re in town. Thank you guys!

Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. Best crab claws we had this week, and we tried them everywhere. Blackened swordfish was perfect. Wings were good. They even have gluten free bread options for the misses. 32 oz, cold beers. Good live entertainment. We will be back!

Server was super helpful and the local resort recommended them as fun, good value, great vibe, and all that was true. It was Valentine’s Day and many of the guests doing karaoke chose songs in that genre which just made it all the more special. Big screens let us watch some Winter Olympic games in Italy. Again our waitress was a dream and made the evening special time.

Excellent locals stop! So glad we popped in Autumn was excellent at the bar, she made us an awesome gin drink with muddled mint and cucumber. Albert was a riot at the oyster counter- what a sweet man with a great personality! He did an excellent job keeping the place clean and epic and span! Oysters were amazing and so was the horseradish WOW that stuff was FOR REAL! The Music was great too! Def on our list of places to come back to!

Food was adequate. There were two dogs in the restaurant and our waitress was petting and rubbing one while she was serving tables. Did she wash her hands? Didn’t seem like it. We will not go back, especially after the two dogs started growling at each other.
