First time here. We were looking for a place to eat for Valentine’s Day and happened to see Austin’s. Went in and they said we needed reservations. We were able to walk out when they said we could sit at the bar. Soooo glad we did. The atmosphere was cozy and quaint. The service was top notch. In today’s society it’s hard to find good service. The food was some of the best we’ve had. We definitely plan to make reservations and sit down next time lol. Already recommended to others

Not sure how this place is even open. Ordered carry out tonight and was highly dissatisfied. Texas BBQ, half rack of ribs and an Austin’s filet. Both the ribs and brisket are clearly oven baked with some liquid smoke tossed on them. No smoke ring at all on either, wouldn’t feed this to my dogs. Will never be back.

Everytime Hubs and I visit here, Leisa takes very good care of us! Shes always very professional, attentive and friendly. She’s always smiling and making our time so much fun!! LEISA IS THE BEST! HARD WORKER!!
Recent visit we drove to 5 different steak houses and they were so packed and ended up where we knew we would well taken care of!!

My wife and I very much enjoyed every aspect of our evening at Austin’s. Every interaction was pleasant from the door to the table and back. Our server gave a wonderful description of unique options on the menu and was clearly very knowledgeable of everything Austin’s had to offer. The wait time on our meals was extremely reasonable, and our cups never ran empty. The food was absolutely top quality and left us both wanting to try more on the menu. We both look forward to our next visit.

Had a wonderful meal in a relaxing restaurant Saturday night and it wasn’t too crowded we called ahead and they had a booth ready and waiting for us. Pleasant staff and the manager was on site . The manager was a good manager as he would buss tables changed the paper towel dispenser and would check on all of the guests along with making his staff feel respected and appreciated. Prices were a touch higher than Longhorns but the food was very good service was excellent good selection of wines and beers also cocktails were available. We had the Texas brisket barbecue with Fries and coleslaw. Barbecue sauce was Smokey with a slight bourbon flavored brisket was meaty and not fatty melted in your mouth, coleslaw was fresh made with a slight tangy dressing. I had bread pudding was very good and my wife had cheesecake with raspberry sauce excellent highly recommended

We still love the staff and atmosphere, but the food has become soso. The selections are always the same and the food has become somewhat mundane. The staff is always great and friendly but for something different, they are losing us.
This is our go-to place during the week after a long day or a nice evening out on the weekend. The service is always AMAZING and they make you feel so appreciated for coming in. It’s such a homey feeling. The pork chops are perfect every single time and the French dip is a nice easy sandwich.

I have sent food back to the kitchen for being inedible one time in my life, and it was here. I ordered the Chicken Piccata, and it was just way too lemony and bitter, honestly hard to eat. I ended up sending it back and getting sliders instead, which were fine, nothing amazing but at least edible.
The staff was nice enough about it, but the whole experience was kind of a letdown. Definitely not what I was hoping for when I came in.

Austin’s Steakhouse has some really good entrees, and the food quality itself has always been solid. That said, I’ve had disappointing experiences with service at both locations. The servers I’ve had were not very attentive and honestly not very friendly, which takes away from the overall experience.
I also tried the chicken wings, which are labeled as “real wings” on the menu. I’m not sure what that means, but they were by far the smallest wings I’ve ever been served, which was pretty surprising.
Good food potential here, but the service and some menu items could definitely use improvement.

I’ve been dining at Austin’s for several years. Obviously, my experiences have all been good. But it was during my recovery from a broken heel that my true appreciation for Austin’s, the team and Nancy D, General Manager, deepened. They took such good care of me every time I visited and it was often! They know how to make a great grilled salmon for sure! Unable to walk for 3 months, I relied on this Mentor establishment to keep me nourished and safe with wheelchair access everywhere. THANK YOU everyone at Austin’s Grill! You Rock in Mentor!
