Love how there’s two side one for sports and one side for family style (more quiet). Staff very welcoming and nice. Food was spectacular. The wings can’t go wrong. Mango habanero and reaper solid 9/10

Love this bar. Love how they take care of us Steeler fans. Jordan was awesome as a waiter today. Don’t know how many bars would open up at 8:00 am for a bunch of fans to watch a game. The entire team here do a great job week in and week out. They even had a special breakfast this morning.

So I’m an avid reviewer with restaurants , this is a sports bar and it’s really nice. The food I had a build a burger, starts out $7.99 with fries (cheap) but don’t let that fool you. I only have 2 burger joints that can even come close to this. This burger was amazing, flavor was amazing, waffle fries are not just waffle fries they’re fresh cut. They have seasonings on them everything was served fresh and hot. There was only 20 people in for lunch. Sit yourself and I promise I’ll be eating here a lot more. Typically I go to different restaurants from really high end $1,000 for 2 people to $30 for 2 people. This place is amazing. It’s definitely my top 3 places for lunch haven’t done dinner yet but will.

We were here with a large group on a Friday night. There parking lot was packed, so I was afraid it would be a crush of bodies- but the space is much larger than I expected- three main rooms- and it didn’t feel crowded, at all. Place is FILLED with screens- I imagine it’s a fantastic place to watch a game. They have a room with darts and pool tables, too. We only ordered appetizers and they were totally standard bar fare. Don’t expect a pretty plate or special flavors. (I loved their light, crispy tortilla chips!) Their drink prices seemed reasonable- we ordered a 34 ounce blue moon-$11. The highlight for me was-we had about 30 people in our group- and the service was stellar. Friendly, fast, accurate.

Repeat customer right here!

The pretzels are absolute dynamite and the wings are terrific. I went during a football game and the service was still awesome. Anyone who had a bad experience, stay gone. Just means more for me! If you haven’t tried this place, stop waiting.

Fabulous Experience!! Made reservations for a party of 10 people for our 1st visit to Austin Ave. We kicked off our party there before we went to spend 4 days in Oklahomaat Choctaw Casino. We chose Karokee night because one of our girlfriends is a recording artist in town from Nashville. We were all so happy with everything Austin Ave started our fun filled 5 days for FUN !!! Our table was ready upon arrival, the staff was amazing and attentive. The bar was clean and well staffed. The DJ did a fabulous job with his organizational skills and making sure those patrons who wanted to sing, got their chance. There were some really great singers and the crowd all seemed to enjoy themselves just as much as we did.
I was the lead skate coach for about 25 years at Thunderbird Skating Rink, and ran operations for several years until Covid. It is so nice to see so many people out and about having fun and living life. I saw so many smiles and lots of laughter on many faces that night at Austin Avenue. May your doors remain open for many, many more years !!!

I’ve been coming to Austin Avenue for decades with great service, food and atmosphere for weekday lunch and weekend meals. Known the owners for most of the time they have been at this location in Plano from the original restaurant. During football season we’ve dinned sometimes weekly.

11.15.25 (between 6pm-10pm) worse service I’ve ever experienced for dine-in with tip at this place or ever in my life. Too big of a room for a Big 10 football game to only have two waiters. One who was “too new” with no one to shadow or mentor him. I had to flag down the waiter the entire evening multiple times, even asking others to let my waiter know I was ready for xyz. I arrived about 45 minutes before kickoff at 6:30pm, which was plenty of time to enjoy great service through out my entire time including the 4-hours of the game.

Waiter came to table to take order as soon as I sat down without allowing time to look at menu. He quickly got the water, yet never came back to get the order. It was towards the end of the 1st quarter, after multiple attempts to flag him down, waiter took my order. The French Onion soup came out fresh, hot and good tasting.

It took towards the end of 2nd quarter to flag him down again and letting others know I needed my waiter to see about my burger meal. I had to get up multiple times to try to locate waiter. He forgot to put that order in. It arrived during half-time incorrect (order was a burger with fries and vegetable medley on the side – it came with no fries and only vegetable medley). The server fixed and had it back correctly quickly. I was impressed! I had to wait through most of half-time to eat because I needed to listen for tickets numbers being called. (seasoned/regular waiters – know how to judge bringing food out and making sure services is exceptional – which we’ve always been impressed with). When asked “new” waiter at register for mustard, he snapped at me for asking and said abruptly in a minute. Which never happened after 10 minutes or so. That is when I went to the bar to get a bottle.

The table of 4 next to me (not here for the game), took over 15+ minutes (they were almost ready to leave) before the regular waiter jumped in to get them menus and take drink orders. This was the “new” waiters table. Even the lady got up to ask for service which did not happen shortly after they arrived. They had there meals and check in a timely manner. Big praise for the regular waiter!! He saved a table!

I was still waiting on my check. Shortly into 3rd quarter (going onto 9pm) I was ready to leave. Again I had to flag waiter down to let him know I was ready for my check. When the check came back incorrect, I went to bar and asked for a manager. He listened to my concerns, was polite and fixed the receipt. It took a long while to complete (which was going into 4th quarter and I was ready to leave). The manager stated the waiter was new as the reason and never apologizing. He should of taken something off my bill for all my service trouble which he did not. I gave the waiter 15% tip, which he really deserved none.

I’ll come back during the weekday for lunch or next football season. Improvements need to be made as I was not the only table in my observations that were flagging down “new” waiter. Owner should be made aware of this issue, which I hope I have the opportunity to do so.

Highly recommend dinning here…. just be careful if “new” waiter…. can the person actually provide the service needed, are they being mentored, is there enough staff for the room, etc. This one awful experience won’t stop me from coming back…. I just need to give them more time to fix this issue going forward.

The bartenders are always friendly and welcoming and remember your order, as do the servers. The clientele varies, but they are all very friendly too. Even if you go alone, you’re bound to end up meeting new people. It’s a wonderful place that I highly recommend!! LOTS of TV’S to watch your favorite sports teams too.

Went there for one of my favorite meals, the baked salmon.

The food was wonderful, and the service was very accommodating.

I stayed for karaoke and the KJ got through the waitlist in a timely fashion.

Just a heads up they add a 20% gratuity.
