Aurelio has always been my favorite thin crust pizza for decades. Growing up in the south suburbs it was a frequent indulgence. I am delighted to say it taste just as good today as it did back then. This location was friendly, service was great, food was delicious and they had such a good pasta deal that we got that for the next two nights dinners.

Terrible,, oh btw apparently the mozzarella cheese is actually American cheese, they tell u it’s not but it’s orange,, and tastes like American.. ask for extra sauce, which they squeezed it on top of our pizza instead of where it belongs ‘ under the cheese, and on top of the crust. But noooooothey put it on top of the cheese! Don’t waste ur $ we washed $30 for a medium pizza.. what a rip off. I called and complained to someone who couldn’t care less! Please don’t waste your time and money

The worst carry out experience of any pizza chain. Pizza was scheduled to be ready 30 minutes after ordering. After 50 minutes, it still wasn’t ready. I requested a refund at the pickup counter, and then I left and ordered a pizza from a different restaurant in the area that does have the capability of making your order on time. I will not be placing an order at any Aurelio’s again.

I originally visited about a month ago and ordered a stuffed pizza, and when I got home I realized that it was very undercooked. I discussed the situation with the manager of the restaurant the next day and they offered to remake the pizza for my next visit. Today I called and arranged for the replacement stuffed pizza. It was a noticeable improvement from the first pizza but something just doesn’t seem right to me, compared to other pizza places I’ve tried with stuffed pizza, it’s like the cheese is warm but not melted (I tried to capture it in a picture but I’m not sure that it translates well. Imagine of you will a pile of cheese that you left out in the hot sun, its warm but only some melted some just warm) I realize that a stuffed pizza is probably more challenging than a regular pizza but perhaps it would be best to remove it from the menu if the kitchen can’t figure out how to melt cheese.
I ultimately decided to go with a middle of the road three star rating because the pizza was OK but not great. I was also disappointed that my pizza wasn’t ready at the scheduled time even though I ordered it an hour twenty minutes before I wanted to pick it up. The saving grace was the associate at the pickup register was super friendly and kind. During my 10 minute wait I was able to observe them interacting with several customers and providing an amazing experience.
I think I’ll give them another shot but I’m definitely going to try a classic pizza instead of a stuffed.

We just had our family holiday party at this restaurant. The food was delicious! The service was amazing! We had a table in the back where we could talk and have a conversation. This is a great place to have parties!

Under carriage of crust was firm but inside of crust a bit chewy sauce was tangy yet sweet, and cheese was high quality. As good as the original spot in Homewood. Mine was right out of the oven. Highly recommend!

Man it was a hell of a night for pizza places I’ll never overlook this place again 5 star service all the way around we showed up 20 min before kitchen closed no complaint had excellent appetizers and pizza on table fast excellent customer service all around amazing food and experience would recommend to anyone and I’m absolutely making this my stop for pizza thank you mike for the excellent service
