Review is based on my breakfast only… I was so excited to come and try the Hong Kong style breakfast.. since after coming back from Hong Kong and taste the authentic version … seafood porridge was ok and do was the pineapple bun. Mediocre what really disappointed was their beef rice roll and pork beef roll.. it was so bad.. the rice roll was worst ever! You would think k they serve dim sum, this classic dim sum dish would be good… the rice roll was not smooth like in regular dim sum restaurants.. even my own home cook was better than this!!! And the wonton was horrible.. does not have the dry fish inside .. it was bland and the wrapper was just as bad.. I normally don’t like to post negative reviews but this one really wasted my time and money.. I have not try their main dishes or their deli.. but after this experiment, I don’t dare..

I expected better, upon reading peoples review. I found everything tasteless for cantonese cooking. They charge me by the pound on my roast pig rather than dinner menu price as posted. Only one item that was tasty was the beef chow fun but it missed the key ingredient the beef, “where’s the beef” . You can literaly count the beef pieces. The portions are better than most places.

We came here for dinner and had such a satisfying experience that I had to leave a 5-star review!
We ordered a live whole fish, prepared two ways — one half steamed, the other used for soup.
The steamed fish was perfectly cooked — tender, fresh, and flavorful without any fishy smell. You could really taste the natural sweetness of the fish.
The fish soup was surprisingly light and clean — no MSG flavor at all, just a nice, comforting broth that really hit the spot.
We also ordered their signature “House Special Stir-Fry” — packed with crisp taro strips, Chinese sausage, bean sprouts, and green beans. The texture was amazing and every bite had great wok hei flavor.
To finish, we added the Sweet & Sour Pork, served beautifully in a pineapple boat. The sauce was well balanced — not too sweet, not too sour — and the pineapple was super fresh and juicy (not the canned stuff!). The dish was colorful and full of flavor.
♂️ Service was friendly and relaxed. We didn’t feel rushed at all, and the portions were generous for the price.
✨ Overall: A hidden gem for authentic Cantonese food — we’re already looking forward to coming back and trying more dishes soon!

Good Cantonese food, we had Peking ribs, Mongolian beef and bitter melon with beef. Good size portion. Very tasty. They do have Pan fried crispy noodle too but the one waiter said no initially.

do not let the casual exterior of this building fool you – they’re serious about food here. came on a Saturday night and it was packed, but they managed to seat us almost immediately! win. we ordered their lobster supreme, roasted duck, and some scrambled eggs with shrimp. rice and soup came with the meal. the lobster? fresh. delicious. chopped for easy eating ( true lobster monsters know how difficult it can be to eat this crustacean when it is improperly prepared! ) duck? delicious and toasty and very flavorful. and the scrambled egg and shrimp is a good, not too salty, meal balancer. very fluffy and soft. the tea they served was also brewed very well, very fragrant and none of the burnt taste. 10/10 would visit again and maybe try some of the other special meals (I gotta come back for the garlic crab)

Terrific “down home” Cantonese cafe.. Boisterous crowds, babies and children, the place hums with happy eaters. Three-generation families, social groups of senior citizens, and yes even couples, everyone wants great food matched with terrific prices! You will find a breakfast, lunch and dinner menu.. Jonathan Gold would have LOVED this place. It’s open 7 days a week, from 7:30am-10pm. It’s menu is Hong Kong Cafe style grafted onto COUNTRY-style Cantonese. Don’t be in a hurry; each menu item is MADE TO ORDER. The kitchen has 3 chefs going full speed! Check out their offerings online. There’s a large parking lot and street parking. It does get crowded, especially on weekends. Don’t miss out!

Went there for dinner on a Wednesday night. Looking to order our typical dishes, but then wife saw the Lobster special written in Chinese that she inquired about for $19/lb. Debating a bit as doubt we can finish as waiter said it’s about 5lbs and above back there. He took out the live lobster and show us that smallest one is 4.75 lbs. We decide to take it with ginger and scallions but turn down the noodles add on. Dam, that was a great live lobster meal. Highly recommended. Since it was huge, definitely easier to take out the lobster meats. The only improvement suggested is to do a better cut like had back in ATL where every pieces are easily eaten without a fork. Luckily I’m a master shell fish eater. We also order beef fillet dish which was also excellent. Highly recommended this tiny Cantonese style restaurant. Services were excellent as well with free house soup, peanuts, tea and small dessert.

Excellent food and service!
Ordered salt&pepper chicken wings, salty fish and tofu in pot and pineapple fried rice.
They were all really good. The salty fish and tofu pot might not look delicious, but they use real salted fish and tasted exactly like the ones I grew up with in Hong Kong. Price is really good as well.
Will definitely come back!
