I went to Augusta Street Pizza for lunch the other day. They serve Roman style pizza, which is square and similar to Sicilian. I got a couple of slices, the meatball and an all meat. I really enjoyed the light, airy crust, and the rest of the pizza was really good as well. Quality cheese and toppings and a good sauce. And the service is friendly, another customer was chatting with someone who worked there. I’ll be back for more.

Omg 100,000,000,000,000,000/10 This place is an absolute gem. The dough and crust alone deserve their own shout-out—perfectly airy, soft, and almost focaccia-like, with just the right balance of structure and tenderness. Not overly crispy, not heavy… just chef’s kiss.

I’ve tried a few pizzas so far and every single one has been a hit. The prosciutto and pesto pizza is genuinely to die for—rich, fresh, and perfectly balanced. And the chicken with vodka sauce? A top-tier banger. Comforting, bold, and executed flawlessly.

And then—the gelato. I’m extremely picky when it comes to gelato, but this place absolutely nails it. Creamy, authentic, and clearly made with care. It’s rare to find pizza and gelato done this well under one roof.

On top of all that, the people here are incredibly welcoming and warm. The vibe feels authentic, passionate, and full of heart—you can tell they truly care about what they’re serving.

Highly recommend. This is the kind of place you come back to again and again.

I will say, the pizza is good. The price though, CRAZY!! First time here, i ordered a large PIE. I wasn’t aware of a Roman Style type. I just ordered a large pie. My wife went in came out with the pizza and the receipt for $46! I called and asked how much a large pie is, the girl said $43 with tax. Then proceeded to explain to me why it was so expensive. I thought this was just a normal pizza shop but it isnt, my bad. Just be aware that when/if you order a large pie, its not what you think. I won’t eat here again. But by all means if you wanna overpay for pizza, you can….

The food was amazing. I love the square style pizza. I have always loved the square style pizza going all the way back to my childhood. This pizza did not disappoint at all. The folks there are nice guys. The music is great and makes the atmosphere nice. Prices are friendly and are a great value for what you get. I am definitely looking forward to making this my regular pizza joint.

My wife and I visited Augusta Street Pizza for the first time and it was a great experience. The pizza itself was amazing. The Roma style crust is airy and crunchy, and the toppings fresh. They make their sauce daily from scratch.

In addition, Nick and Carmine spent time telling us their fascinating story from New York to Greenville. These men are committed to excellent pizza and they spare no expense or effort to making it perfect. Definitely give this brand new Greenville culinary gem a try. We’re looking forward to the next time.
