We finally made it to Augie’s for lunch and the food was delicious. It was a snowy Saturday afternoon and the renovations from the previous tenant were nice. We sat at the bar and ordered the space rodeo burger, no bun, sweet potato fries, hen solo and galaxy fries and to drink the wake up call and bloody Mary. The sandwiches were delicious, hot and fresh and the toppings were nice flavor additions to the burger and chicken sandwich. The galaxy fries were tasty and a nice change from the standard French fry. The sweet potato fries were a great and appreciated menu item however they came out cold. The morning wake up call was delicious and used some vanilla ice cream in the drink which was a nice twist on an espresso martini. The food, with the exception of the sweet potato fries was easily 5 stars. The issue we had here was the service. The bartender was a bit snarky when we asked her questions about menu items. She also decided to take a personal phone call when the food came out. I needed silverware and had to wait until she finished her call, at the same time I asked if the kitchen forgot my pickles, I got a snappy response that they were under the burger. Great, no problem, but how would I know if I don’t have silverware to check. The sweet potato fries were also cold. For $7, I’d like them hot and fresh. But at this point I was hungry, my burger was getting cold and I didn’t feel like catching any more attitude. I will absolutely be back but I hope whoever is there on my next visit is friendlier and more helpful.

Augie’s graciously offered us their private room upstairs (for free!) to host a small birthday party for my 3 year old son, Auggie! Staff was incredibly helpful, the food was amazing and the room was perfect for celebration. They let us bring decorations and a cake. The upstairs room has a tv and a restroom on the same level. We had a fabulous time and can’t wait to return.

When we first arrived we decided to have a drink or two at the bar because why not? Now the female bartender was a BOSS. She was managing a large area on her own, instructing staff and generally running everything. Love to see it! Her ability to create DELICIOUS cocktails was impressive. I had the Early Bird which was a cocktail when you still want to appear healthy at a bar with carrot, ginger and herbs! And my friend had a draft beer.
Now when we ordered, the girls were nice but why is there so many just standing behind the counter?? There’s ALOT on the menu to choose from so good luck.
This is where it went downhill fast. Our burgers weren’t warm at all. What was clear is that they didn’t cook the fried chicken first and the beef was just sitting around. Now what is going on with the onion? I ordered the Mothership but was really confused as to why the onion lengths were so long??Whoever is in the kitchen needs to cut the lengths in half again, because that’s a potential emergency situation waiting to happen! The bacon in my friend’s burger Cora Explorer was inedible and beyond cold, like it was just sitting around and not cooked fresh. Fries were delicious, the Mac n cheese served in a larger looking cup was tasty. Also no bottled water?? Someone needs to take control of the line in the kitchen and communicate effectively, because this will drive away business. A cold burger should be criminal.

Dined here for the 1st time tonight. Tables half full and waited 25 minutes for a milkshake and 45 minutes for 3 burgers and fries….and then they forgot my fries and I needed to wait 10 more minutes. Plenty of staff to service the bar and private party area, but none to make and serve food. A decent bite to eat, but not with the wait and 70 dollars I had to spend for 3 burgers, 2 fries and a milkshake. Will not return, will never recommend.

The food is awesome. One of the best burgers I’ve ever had. The milkshake was the best milkshake I’ve ever had. The staff is really friendly, knowledgeable, love the music. Love the atmosphere. I love the vibe. The business also does a lot of charity work too. How could you go wrong with this business

From the cleanliness, friendly staff, spotlessly clean environment, fair prices, and solid quality food and beverages.
It is extremely clear that the owners have put thought and heart into every detail of the restaurant. I will ALWAYS recommend this place to others, and I will also be visiting them on the regular.

We stopped at Augie’s in Hamburg and everything was absolutely delicious! We tried a little bit of everything… burgers, chicken sandwiches, mac and cheese, salad, fries, and a milkshake – and it all hit the spot!!
The burgers were juicy and cooked perfectly, the mac and cheese was super creamy and flavorful, and even the salad was fresh. The fries were golden and crispy, and the milkshake was the perfect sweet treat to top it all off.
The atmosphere was fun and casual, and the staff was super friendly and welcoming. Definitely a new fave—highly recommend if you’re in the area!

Augie is hands-down the best burger joint around! From the moment I walked in, the vibe was welcoming and the service was fantastic. The burgers were cooked perfectly—juicy, flavorful, and made with high-quality ingredients that you can truly taste. Every bite was incredible, and the sides were just as good. This was an all-around wonderful experience, and it’s clear they care about both their food and their customers. If you’re looking for an amazing burger and a place you’ll want to come back to again and again, Augie is the spot!
