The atmosphere is amazing here. We loved sitting on the terrace for sunset. The food is traditional Corsican and the hospitality is wonderful. It is also very good value. We highly recommend.

Great authentic Corsican restaurant just a few minutes away from Propriano. Had dinner here on a Thursday night – top notch Corsican food with excellent service, family atmosphere and prices you won’t find almost anywhere on the coast. Definitely recommend for the overall experience and for the venue itself, immersed in the Corsican countryside with great views at sunset.

Absolutely one of my favourite restaurants in the Propriano area.
The owners are both family and it shows. The cooking is done with real passion by Mdme Mondolini, and front of house is taken care of by her son Jean-Yves.
The staff were brilliant – every one of them was knowledgeable, charming, and impeccably presented.
The menu has changed little in the 32 years I’ve been visiting and there’s a good reason for this. The food is simple, delicious and plentiful. What more could you want?
It’s not a surprise that this is one of the top rated restaurants in the area.
I will obviously be back!

Beautiful food and attentive staff. Only issue for me and my daughter was getting very bitten! A family nearby clearly knew about the problem as we had wafts of citronella! Didn’t spoil the meal though and the ambience was superb.

This restaurant was without doubt the best that I have visited during my stay in Corsica. The food itself was exceptional merging traditional corsican food with beautiful local ingredients. All of the staff were superb, freindly and very helpful. The location is simply beautiful, bucolic while being only five minutes drive from Propriano. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough.

We can highly recommend the menus with aperitif (Liqueur: Cédrat & Mirto), the excellent Soup Paysanne (vegetable soup), Salade de Saison, Cannelloni au Brocciu, Sauté de Veau, Gâteau à la Châtaigne (Chestnut cake with ice cream), Tarte aux pommes (apple cake with ice cream).

So far during our stay in Propriano, we haven’t been blown away by the food particularly given the prices. So we were pleasantly surprised by this family restaurant which happened to have a live band playing Corsican music. The food was pretty amazing, the hospitality likewise

Back to the roots! A great restaurant serving traditional dishes and family specialities (ventru). Excellent value for money and what makes the difference is also the passion for local produce and customer service. Owners are passionate about their products and will meet and greet you. The Chef who is the matrriac of the family comes out of the kitchen to meet all customers.o. Kids wise, don’t expect chicken nuggets, best bet is to share a lasagna or veal between them as quite copious portions. So to summarise, a great welcome, genuine Corsica’s menu with grandmother secrets and amazing passion from the owners who thrive on making their customers happy. Fully recommended.
