Incredible experience overall, four stars for the food itself. Excellent versions of classic dishes like soufflé and coq au vin. Also tried the royal hare which is a dish that dates back to Louis XIV and is extremely rich and gamey – it wasn’t for me but we were all glad to have tried it. Dessert was the soufflé trio, they were ok but the classic soufflé was definitely the best one.
Ambience was just incredible, I felt like I was in a modern medieval tavern. Service was pretty slow, just getting our orders in and some water took almost half an hour. I love the napkins so much that I bought one from the restaurant at the end of our meal – one of my favorite souvenirs of the entire trip!

My husband and I tried this place for dinner and so glad we did! Adeline greeted us at the door and accommodated us even though I had messed up our reservation! She was so friendly and kind. The restaurant is so quaint and all the servers were cheerful, kind, and on top of everything. The food is the best we have had our entire trip or our trips here before! We did not get an appetizer but immediately ordered the souffle trio for dessert. I got the Chateaubriand with Bearnaise sauce, and my husband got the chicken in cream sauce. Both were so good and my filet was so tender it melted in my mouth. They have an extensive wine selection as well. The souffles are so amazing! The portions were plentiful and we were stuffed upon leaving! The prices are very fair for the quality of the food and dishes. This place was packed for good reason so book your reservation quickly! The servers all seemed to work together seemlessly and stay on top of your needs. We would highly recommend and will be back on our next trip!

The food was absolutely amazing. Every dish was exquisite. Best mashed potatoes we have ever had. Service, however detracted from the experience. It took 20 min before a waiter stopped by. After dinner after waiting 15 min, we had to flag down a waiter to ask about our dessert soufflé. He acted like he had no idea we had an order. But it did come 5 min later.

Food is fantastic in a beautiful rustic Bresse” looking venue. The quenelle was delicious, the Chateaubriand was one of the best ever. The souflle trio for dessert was perfect and served table side would highly recommend

This place is a treat! We got a lunch reservation on December 26 and had a very satisfying meal, including trying cheese souffle for the first time. The waiters very kindly spoke English with us, and we had the crayfish gratin, the bouchee, the cheese souffle and the mini dessert souffles, all of which were rich and delicious. The waiters were also very nice to our dog, bringing her water and giving her scritches. We plan to come back next time we’re in Paris to try out more dishes.

We stumbled upon this place through a quick Google search. We happened to be in the area, and were in line as the doors opened for the night. We didn’t know we needed reservations, but they let us in and sat us in the back (maybe it was the fact that I spoke French?) regardless, we were thankful! As for the food — we ordered their famous chicken and my bf got the fish. Unfortunately, both were rather flavorless, and for the price, the portions were pretty small, and only came with unseasoned fries as a side. We also ordered the raspberry soufflé, which again, was flavorless. Neither one of us finished our food.

Absolutely exceeded our expectations. From the moment we walked in to the time we left we were treated like kings and queens. The dishes were all superb with flavors that will leave a lasting impression. We cannot wait to return the next time we are in Paris. Goodbye for now. ❤️

The menu choices were amazing and so varied. The quality of the food and the wine were world class and the service was impeccable.
The only small downside was the tables for 2 were quite close together

My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful lunch at Auberge Bressane. The meal was delicious and the servers were delightful! They sang the happy birthday song to my husband (I didn’t ask but they caught on somehow), and obliged me when I asked if they would mind singing it in French too. Barbara made it so special and fun! We very much enjoyed our time there and will definitely be back! (Will try to post video of singing but not sure I’ll be successful.)
