What a great meal!
I had the hummus and baba ganoush appetizer which turned out to be tapenade and hummus. Oh my! So good! A perfect explosion of flavors on my tongue. My hubby had the stuffed portobello cap. Most delicious as well. I had the duck confit for entrée and the fig and sherry glaze was a perfect compliment to the duck.
Our hostess/server was a delightful lady and I got to meet the Chef! A very talented and massive man with a gentle and romantic heart. This is a new restaurant which deserves looking into. We will return and hopefully, I will get to eat the crab mac and cheese appetizer; they had unfortunately run out tonight. But I got to taste the hummus and tapenade so, it’s all good.
The four stars are because of the decor. Some work needs to be done but nothing which interferes which the food.
Thank you Au Gratin, we will be back and perhaps we’ll be properly introduced then. 🙂

Short ribs are to die for. Very picky eater, but there is quite a bit on the menu that is great. We have great service every time we go.
