I actually forgot to take photos of the food this time because I was too busy enjoying it, but I did take a picture of my favourite dessert, and it’s as good as it looks!
Great atmosphere, lovely service, and really nice wines..
The whole place has a warm and cosy vibe.. Highly recommend!
The French Onion soup was excellent and was a pleasant surprise as it was great with the prior owner Jose. My friends in the past enjoyed the beef kebab but it was not on the menu and I am diabetic so a choice of salads would of been nice but they had only one special salad for the night. I was happy to see the 5 hour lamb was still on the menu as it was loved by some of my friends. I chose the ribeye with some vegetables but the marbling of the ribeye was difficult to chew thru or cut through. I know the marbling adds to the flavor but I did not understand why it could not be chewed through….is it a quality issue or just a cut issue. Next time I would choose a leaner meat.
The redberry cup was a very splendid desert which I should not have participated as a diabetic and I am sure my doctor would not be happy with me.
Pleasant staff and manager. I believe the choices seemed more limited than it was with the previous owner but I hope it will improve over time. But good start with their new kitchen.

PS I checked with a friend who indicated it may have been over cooked which hardens the marbling rather than melt it.
