So far this place has the best food in the area. Salsa doesn’t taste like spaghetti sauce like some of the other restaurants we’ve tried. Portion size and price is great. We will be returning soon.

Unfortunately food was not good at all. I ordered. Steak Ranchero and beans were super salty , rice was dry as if it was made the day before. Chips and salsa were ok. But I would not recommend it!

The food was amazing! The burrito macho (pictured) was giant and the steak was perfectly cooked. Had enough for two meals! My girl had the tamale and enchilada combo (also pictured) which she said was delicious too. Good & quick service. Nice atmosphere. Tasty salsa. All around great visit! Not from town but will have to stop back by next time we’re nearby

It was a last minute decision to puck up food instead of going out Atzimba was close to the lake house we were at so we gave it a try. It was a solid choice. The portions were huge and the food itself was pretty tasty. The staff were very friendly and overall it was a very good experience.

Had the steak burrito suave, very good burrito! Came with steak shredded lettuce avocado and Mexican cheese sauce to dip it in and a side of rice with a cute little umbrella toothpick in the middle of it. Their chips and salsa was good also. The salsa came in a cute little carafe and everyone gets their own separate bowl to dip their chips in. Excellent service also!

When you go to Lexington, the first Mexican restaurant you’re probably going to see is Los Portales. Most of the time though, I would definitely tell people instead of going to Los Phone, go to Atzimba. The selection on the menu is insane. They have everything you could possibly think of. The last time I went I got a shrimp dish served on a flaming plate. I wasn’t sure what this meant when reading the menu so I asked. I got told it was a flaming plate, which didn’t tell me much more than the menu had. So I decided to be adventurous and ordered it, and when it came out there was fire under my food. my mother’s food was served on a pineapple. I think that if you are down for an adventure, this may be your place. The wait staff is friendly, consistently asking if you need something, and very polite. They don’t seem to have trouble with you requesting things. The place is clean, and amazing in its attention to detail. All of the chairs and tables have different scenes reminiscent of Mexico, which are raised in relief and painted with colorful lacquer. Even though they’re not expensive they sure look it. You’ll feel like you’re in a fancy Mexican restaurant, until you pay the bill. The prices are very reasonable, the food is outstanding, and the service is wonderful. Just remember to say hi to the iguana!

I ordered tacos and I was in a hurry to get it home to my grandma and when I get home the meat is nasty the chicken and steak when we took maybe a bite we couldn’t even eat it. So I call and talked to the manager he told me to take pictures of the food and he said he would give me the money back because clearly it wasn’t edible. He explained to me that I can get refunded the next time I was in town. That didn’t happen I talked to a woman there and told her I that I spoke with the manager and he said I could refund she told me that she knew I told her but he said that I needed to get food not a refund I didn’t argue with them I told them that I would post it on social media so no one will waste the money on the food and go there. I wouldn’t even give them one star it wouldn’t let me take the one-star off. Sucks too because they used to be a good restaurant
