What a wonderful experience!! We walked over from SpringHill Suites (next door) after seeing a poster in the elevator about ATX. Initially, after check in, we had resolved ourselves to most likely a fast food burger but are so happy to have stumbled upon this cute restaurant/bar in Marriott.

The atmosphere was chill, the staff (especially Alyssa) were welcoming and friendly through and through. We didn’t feel rushed and really enjoyed the food and drinks. Alyssa made my Blood Orange Cosmopolitan and it was fabulous! The tres leches was the perfect ending to the meal!

The ATX Olive Company is a restaurant that works inside The Marriot Hotel, at 4415 S I-35 Frontage Rd, Austin, USA.
This place offers a mix of Tex-Mex and Italian food with a good balance of flavor and texture, resulting in an interesting and delicious variety of foods.
When I went there, on April 26, I along with my son, and his wife tasted the delicious Gnocetti Sardi with shrimp, The Rigatoni Brisket Ragu, the Classic Alfredo, and, of course, a Simple Cheese pizza, all totally delicious.
By the end, I have to say how comfortable this place is, with pool tables and a complete bar. I recommend it!

I was present after opening recently at the taste testing with myself and other people from nearby hotels. I can sufficiently say I was impressed. The presentation of the food is phenomenal and it definitely lives up to the Marriott standard of finer dining. Although on the pricey side, the food was phenomenal, and strange as a Tex / Italian offering. I tried the Burrata, Fried Ravioli, Diablo Cauliflower , and Brisket Lasagna. I would recommend all dishes. This restaurant is also directly down in the Marriott hotel, capable of billing the nearby sister hotels for convenience and also has a full stock bar, and billiards tables. I will be coming back to this restaurant for sure.

We stayed at the Marriot for a whole month and only decided to eat here on our last night because we’ve had trauma with hotel restaurants.
NOT THIS ONE! We regret only eating here the last time! Limonchello tres leches was divine! The prime rib was cooked to perfection!

On Christmas Day, as we were traveling through town, we came for Christmas dinner. They apologized for having a reduced staff, and also offered a minimal menu. Fortunately, all the food we ordered was very good. I had the Texas Baby Gem Caesar with the top sirloin, very tasty. My husband really liked Ricotta Meatballs and our son loved the 50/50 burger.

Breakfast was ok for the price. Loved the eggs. However, the potatoes looks amazingly delicious, but it was the complete opposite. There was literally NO flavor. No hint of anything. Salt and pepper didn’t save it.

Unusual atmosphere is conducive to both fine dining and business casual. Congrats to the cook who perfectly cooked a steak in spite of its delicious thickness! Kudos to the chef for unusual combination of flavors to the appetizer and steak! Presented well, served with excellence, and enjoyed gratefully! Great value for the $$$.

I stay at the Spring Hill Suites next door to the ATX Olive Company every few months when I am here for work. A stop at ATX is a must for me every time. The food is really good, but the service and people are really what really brings me back every time. They make you feel right at home, when you’re hundreds of miles away from home. Plus they have really good desserts which is a plus. You can tell this restaurant and bar is being ran well.

Just look at this “creamy” polenta! It’s an absurd amount of grease and it was distributed by. It would be funny if it wasn’t so sad. I’m not sure if it was microwaved (why the fat has all pooled) or what but this was the most depressing “italian” food I’ve ever had. You need to do a full revamp on the recipes if not the menu. Staff was friendly enough.

The band and atmosphere were great but the food not so much.

The Prawn Scampi was bland with mushy noodles.

Staff were friendly and attentive.
