A delightful dining experience. The Galentine’s Brunch was beautiful and delicious. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful staff as well!

We absolutely loved our experience here. The vibes were cosy and intimate, and with the snow and Christmas decorations it was just magical. The service was quick and the food was amazing, even as busy as they were, it was fantastic service and a brilliant meal. Would definitely recommend the duck.

Enjoyed our dinner this is an intimate spot. Classy but not at all stuffy. Service was attentive. We had many options. I loved the seafood risotto! The walleye was also great. I learned that I don’t love watercress- not that anything is wrong with watercress. Micheal was our server and we had a lovely time.

We went there for Valentines Day Breakfast, atmosphere and vibe was welcoming and very pleasant, but… our orders were mixed, my wife’s spinach omelet was with my hash browns and my ham omelet was served with her fruit order… we did the equilibristic switch transporting omelets to correct plates :). We did not get the butter for our toasts…. (other tables had butter). Initially we have order a pancake for our “desert”, but in the middle of the course we have gently asked our waitress, is it still timely to cancel it? She sad, yes, no problem. Pancake was on our bill.. we are not morning argument people, so we have paid for something we did not get to eat or take with us…we tipped 22% and left peacefully to carry on with our V Day. We have a mixed feelings about that place, that mistreatment left the mark.

Great food, great atmosphere, great drinks! Bartender Kate is the best. This place is so awesome that I almost hesitate to post a 5-star review and “blow the best kept secret”.

This is the best fine dining restaurant in Geneva. I grew up in Geneva in the 1980s, I have been to all the restaurants in the area for high school dances, special occasions, weddings, and otherwise, and I get back to town several times from Chicago because my parents live there. (302 West was also one of the best fine dining restaurants, but it closed. Atwater’s is similarly great.)
My party of four loved all four main courses, which is unusual. Even the chicken fricassee, normally a pedestrian dish IMHO, is excellent.
One minor complaint that I hope the restaurant reads and addresses: we were a bit chilled during the dinner. We asked the restaurant to turn up the heat, but then others complained it was too hot. With all the windows, there may be microclimates, and the restaurant needs to figure out how to address that. Perhaps with small heaters near each table, for localized heat.
Strongly recommended!

Step into a dining experience. The private room feel is truly timeless. Windows that overlook a courtyard with impeccably maintained flora and river. Sunday brunch by Chef Kevin Gillespie was top notch. Food presentation is always on point. Nothing short of stunning. We only stopped for a nibble but will be back again soon!

Beautiful restaurant with outside seating available overlooking the river. Food was delicious for Sunday Brunch, and the servers were there checking and refilling drinks fast. We had a delicious cheese board to share first, white fish, bagel with salmon, and a petite filet. All was perfectly cooked, right temperatures, a very good brunch.
The Hotel itself is very beautiful with stoned walls and a beautiful main staircase. The Restaurant is very elegant with nice tables, solid carved wood chairs with English gobelinos, beautiful artwork on the wall, and top to ceiling glass windows with the river view.
Great food, great place, great service.

Wonderful! Atwater at the Herrington was the ideal spot for a date night celebration dinner for two. We had an excellent view of the courtyard and river. Great wine selection, attentive service, melt in your mouth – top notch cuisine. They also took my special dietary needs seriously and made certain I kept clear of any issues. We’ll be back. Reservations recommended!
