Beautiful restaurant with outside seating available overlooking the river. Food was delicious for Sunday Brunch, and the servers were there checking and refilling drinks fast. We had a delicious cheese board to share first, white fish, bagel with salmon, and a petite filet. All was perfectly cooked, right temperatures, a very good brunch.

This restaurant was recommended to us, and I am so glad we went. It is located in an absolutely beautiful hotel in Geneva, the atmosphere was lovely, right by the river surrounded by a small garden. The service was so friendly and helpful. And the food, THE FOOD, it was delightful, I had the salmon and it was perfectly cooked, my husband had the prime rib sandwich and the fries were exactly how fries should be. This restaurant made my day and I cannot recommend it enough.

Wonderful! Atwater at the Herrington was the ideal spot for a date night celebration dinner for two. We had an excellent view of the courtyard and river. Great wine selection, attentive service, melt in your mouth – top notch cuisine. They also took my special dietary needs seriously and made certain I kept clear of any issues. We’ll be back. Reservations recommended!

The restaurant itself is fine, however they are not accommodating to special events or requests. I proposed to my now fiancée at this location a few months ago, and now that we would like to do our photos next to the river where I proposed (outside of the restaurant) they will not allow it unless we have our entire reception there! The food is fine but pricey, and the service was mid. Fine for dining, but don’t expect any kind of help with your special events or life events. You’d think they would want the free advertisement/publicity?

First, let me start by saying that the food was excellent. Everything was cooked to perfection. The only drawback to my experience was the long wait times at the table. Our server would disappear for long periods of time. I found myself looking around the restaurant to try and flag her down. What made it more difficult was we were seated with our backs toward the whole restaurant facing directly outside. It was difficult to turn around and look as the large backs to the chairs created an obstacle to look for our server. For the prices, I didnt expect to have to flag down our server and waiting several minutes in between drinks and taking our orders. We had appetizers, entres, and dessert. We were seated inside the restaurant, yet there were too many fruit flies flying around and landing all over our table. The restaurant was half empty at the time. Party of two and our tab was around $220 not including tip. Decor was nice, gave a 1900 Emglish them. May come back and see if my next experience is better.

We came here for our three year anniversary. It was nothing short of truly amazing. The service was so grand and so wonderful. Everyone treated us with so much respect and friendliness. This is one of the best places I’ve ever had the opportunity to dine at. The view is incredible. Even though our filet was overcooked, we told them about it, and they sent a new one out in minutes! The service is just amazing. After dinner, we took a few photos on the river and it was just beautiful. We will always have such fond memories of this place as I’ve been here with my family as well 10 years ago. Please never change this place! Can’t wait to come back 🙂

This place really does have it all. Great service, charming space with a view of Fox River, great salads and appetizers(we had the poached pear salad, butternut squash soup, and short ribs), had the sausage risotto entree that hit the spot, then had great dessert and port wine to finish.
