Stopped here on a whim and was not disappointed at all. I will definitely be returning for the paneer puffs – they were delicious. The kutchi dabeli was really good too with very balanced flavors and textures. I’m excited to try other items! Very clean and friendly new bakery. Music here was on point too!

New Vegetarian Bakery and Indian Style Fast Food joint. First thing you notice walking in is that the place is immaculately and surgically clean. The counter staff are extremely nice, soft spoken and offer patient explanations for those not familiar with some of the food. The cakes are something else. Moist, decadent and eggless! Unlike fully vegan cakes, they don’t go crazy with dumping sugar to compensate. I had (shamelessly) five different pieces of cake and three of them were cheese cakes. Each was decidedly delicious and the flavors were amazing. The presentation is exquisite too. They look and taste so good. The food was savory and interestingly enough, their fries were a golden color and very crispy on the outside and warm and soft inside. Absolute perfection. McDonald’s and diners all around need to take notes. They have savory sandwiches and finger foods galore. Great for snacking or as a meal, some are healthier then others. Everyone, including the owner are extremely friendly and nice in this establishment.

Mango Tres Leches. Really?

Specifics: Review is about a signature innovation from this spruced-up bakery.
Drawn by flyer “You Must Try” [pic] on storefront, we tried, and picked a mango tres leches for guests. Nice idea to ride on mango-everything bandwagon (mango-lassi, -milkshake, -kulfi, -rice, -mousse, -cheesecake are already out there in consumer space).
Came prepackaged in a ~12cm sq PET box, 3.5 cm high [pic]. Back home, decided to spoon out a quality assurance bite off the corner. Mango came through; middle note wasn’t ‘leches’ enough. But that was okay.
Sitting in the fridge for about an hour, translucent, watery syrup collected in the hole. Sampling the rather thin sponge cake layer (half the >4cm height we’re accustomed to), we sensed it was soaked in syrup; not any of three milk versions one would associate with tres leches. Uncertain & deluded, we ended up not serving to guests.
Overall, was visually appealing and worth trying for a change. Guys, please call it anything other than mislabelled tres leches. Or get your recipe right.

Bottom line: Proclaimed egg-free, Atul is a welcome addition to vegan food scene. With 6+ outlets on the East Coast, and expanding, they must surely be doing things right. The place is welcoming, jolly good staff, seating for ~20 with space for more. On that note, we’ll be back to sample other stuff; and then re-calibrate.

The food and service at Atul Bakery was amazing!! The owner welcomed us into the store and took the time to talk with us. The workers were also very attentive and sweet. I would definitely recommend the Royal Cassata cake. It was so creamy and delicious!! Everyone should check this place out!

“We stumbled upon this newly opened bakery in Floral Park, and our first impression was wow! The menu boasted an exciting fusion of Indian flavors with classic baked goods. We instantly fell in love with their Cheesecake, Black Forest Cake, and Moscobun Roll, which reminded us of home. The complimentary Masala Puff was a lovely touch!

The owners were warm and humble, enthusiastically discussing their menu, which includes sandwiches, Vada Pav, and other Indian snacks. We’re impressed by their expertise in blending traditional Indian flavors with baked goods and shakes.

The atmosphere is cozy, and the staff is friendly. We’re thrilled to see BelRose, an Asian Indian market, expanding on Hillside Avenue in Queens. Can’t wait to visit again and try more of their delicious offerings!”

I recently checked out Atul Bakery on hillside ave, the new fast-food spot everyone’s been talking about. I was curious to see if it lived up to the hype, and I left with some strong opinions.

We ordered vada pav which was great in taste, little spicy but you can make adjustment before placing an order. Veggie pizza was good as well, the crust, cheese Veggies all toasted well. Also you can get swaminarayan as well.

I would suggest to get Dabeli and vada pav jain and swaminarayan which would help to get more customers since surrounding restaurants have all options.

They have so many cake and pastries which you get as well. Definitely planning to go back and try more items.

I had so much expectations but when I ate the first bite , it was stale . The bread was very hard and the frosting wasn’t giving any flavor. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all . I feel really disappointed .

One of the best experiences I’ve had at an Indian bakery! The aloo patties reminded me of home—warm, crispy, and full of flavor. The cheese corn patties were amazing, super cheesy and perfectly baked. And the vada pao… wow! Soft bun, tasty vada, and authentic chutneys. This place never disappoints!
