This was such a cute place!!!! The pastries were absolutely DELICIOUS. They tasted fresh and really really good. The staff there was super nice and helpful as well! I asked for book recommendations and the lady at the cashier helped me right away. (will definitely buy those books.) Their books are also nicely organized into sections, which I also really loved, along with even a section for “staff recommendations” which I thought was a smart idea. The atmosphere was super cute and cozy. 100% recommend stopping by and having a quick pastry or food and maybe even check out some books!

Good option for grab & go or quiet spot to get some work done. Very much a library vibe with laptops and sketch pads out at every table. Food was pretty good, chai was a little too sweet for me. Croque monsieur (plus eggs) was on thick sourdough with heavy amount of cheese, mushrooms, & ham. Overall I felt it could use a bit of a refresh, dirty ceiling tiles, worn furniture.

Didn’t come here enough as a student, but now come here every time I’m back in New Haven. Excellent pastries and food options, and great selection of books and puzzles. The guava hand pie could’ve done with more guava, but that’s sadly to be expected with most guava pastries outside of Miami.

I was there for commencement weekend. I usually get an Americana but tried the lavender latte they were offering. It was delicious. I also ordered the Morning Bun. The morning bun and coffee were so good that I had that for breakfast three days in a row. The staff, while facing huge lines, moved everybody through the line with swiftness and were quite pleasant. My only regret is that i didn’t bring 6 morning buns back home with me.

Atticus Bookstore Cafe was nestled near the Yale campus. I visited with 3 friends. The menu is refreshing and the food was delicious. Seating is limited and it took an hour for us to be able to get two tables next to one another but in the end it worked out okay. We each tried something from the hot drink menu, breakfast menu, and later on… Lunch! The pastries were phenomenal, the sandwiches were interesting and delicious. All in all, great menu & great food! The bookstore is awesome as well!
