I ordered from this restaurant through DoorDash, and unfortunately my bowl had way too much sauce. It was extremely salty and I couldn’t eat it at all. I was really disappointed because the flavor could have been good if it wasn’t so over-seasoned. I hope they pay more attention to the sauce amount next time

The food was fresh with a decent portion. Always get your poke sauces on the side. My rice was so drenched that I couldn’t eat it. Otherwise, the people, place, and food are great!

I have been to the one in Lakeland before but not this newest one. Loved it! One of the best things about Bowen Yard is if you are with someone who doesn’t like Sushi they can have Tacos from Lakehouse Kitchen, Cubans from Hemmingways or even Seafood from Meritimr. So it’s a win win!

Waited 30 minutes for my order and it still arrived incomplete. What did arrive was messy, poorly assembled, and difficult to eat.
I don’t usually leave negative reviews because mistakes happen — but this wasn’t a one-off issue. The entire experience felt careless. Staff showed little urgency, and the food reflected the same “good enough” attitude.
This is a basic service and quality control failure, not bad luck.
Save your time and money — choose another restaurant until management fixes the standards.
To the owner: this was preventable. Hire better, train better, expect better.

The staff here is fantastic—especially one server who always greets us with a warm smile and makes friendly eye contact. Her service is consistently outstanding.
The poke bowls are delicious when everything is well-balanced, with the right mix of protein, toppings, and sauces. However, sometimes the portions skew too heavily toward carrots and lettuce, leaving the protein a bit lacking. If the ingredients were more evenly distributed, every bite would be perfect!
Overall, it’s a great spot with amazing service—just a small tweak in portioning would make the bowls even better.
