It starts with Mike and Megan Davis, owners of Back East Bar & Grill, a local watering hole/sports bar in northern Colorado Springs. They carried Back East’s success into two more locations, one in Monument and one in Denver. Almost seven years ago they hired Chef Steven Bailey to take over the kitchen, update the menu, and create specials. Steven worked in Martha’s Vineyard and Palm Beach Florida learning all he could from some very talented chefs. Eventually they all got together to combine their skills and ambition to open up a Gastropub. Trying to bring some fun and class to the North End of town. Offering elevated drinks and a creative, fresh menu to an area that desperately needs culinary salvation. Welcome!

While this is my first review for Atmosphere, this was not my first time here. Between our whole party of 5, we had 3 different appetizers, all different entrees, and shared a dessert. Everything was phenomenal as it always has been in the past. I’ve never been to a restaurant where every single thing on the menu look amazing. I highly suggest the smoked cherry old fashioned paired with the cup o’ bacon. It makes it taste like candied bacon. The bleu cheese is the best blue cheese I’ve ever had anywhere. The tuna tartare is creamy, full of flavor, and goes excellent with the cucumber and sesame seeds. I also had the jerk chicken Alfredo. I never would have thought of pineapple chutney with Alfredo sauce, but everything went so well together. My wife had the gnocchi bolognese, and we both agreed it was amazing. If anyone were to ever ask for restaurant suggestions, I will always suggest Atmosphere Gastropub. The food is phenomenal, the service is great, and drinks are incredible. If I could give it more stars, I would. Thank you Atmosphere for another wonderful experience. I will definitely return again and again.

One of our favorite date night spots. The location has a very upscale presentation without upscale prices. The service is always great. We tend to sit at the bar. All of the food is amazing as are the hand crafted cocktails. Be sure to make a reservation if you don’t want to sit at the bar, and even then sometimes there is a wait. Well worth it though!

Atmosphere lives up to the name. A vibrant space with great beers on tap and unique food options that are consistently excellent and delicious. One of my favorite spots in North Colorado Springs that I’ve been to several times. Doesn’t disappoint. Highly recommend that you stop by if you’re in town.

Highly recommended. We’ve tried many of their entrees, salads and appetizers and they are all exceptionally good. On our last visit I had the Pear and Walnut salad with the addition of cold lobster meat (at an additional charge…you can add protein to this other salads). The walnuts were chopped very finely, so I recommend this dish even if you aren’t a walnut fan. Very nice drink selection, particularly beer and cocktails. If you go during peak times, expect it to be busy…reservation recommended, as it is not a large restaurant. No matter how busy, the service has always been attentive without being distracting.

This place had a really calm vibe. The atmosphere was absolutely beautiful. And the prices were very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food and drinks that we received. I got the Cuban with a side ceaser and my husband had the bison burger and we shared them both and were both very pleased. Adam was our waiter and also the bartender and he was very polite and gave amazing service . I would definitely come back and highly recommend!

This bar was very welcoming. I love when a server is payient, and knowledgeable, and willing to suggest menu items. It is also helpful when they pair it with a drink or two. This place is very clean, and the decor easily compliments the theme. This bar is a great place for a quick bite to unwind after work, or to watch games and grab dinner. They offer multiple delicious options that makes choosing a little difficult, but in a good way

had an incredible night at Atmosphere Gastropub in Colorado Springs. The place was absolutely buzzing—great energy, a packed house, and a lively, welcoming vibe. We lucked out and snagged a couple of seats at the bar, which turned out to be the perfect spot to take it all in.
The live music was outstanding—not too loud, just the right backdrop for a fun, high-energy night out. The service was equally impressive. Even with a full house, the bartenders were attentive, friendly, and quick to make great recommendations.
As for the food? Outstanding. We started with the bacon-wrapped dates and baked brie—both rich, flavorful, and perfectly executed. For the main event, we split the shaved prime rib sandwich, and it did not disappoint. Tender, well-seasoned, and served on a fresh roll, it was everything you want in a great sandwich.
Atmosphere Gastropub nailed it on all fronts—food, service, and vibe. Whether you’re looking for a casual night out or a spot to soak in some live music with great eats, this place delivers. We’ll definitely be back.
