We really enjoyed our visit. The owner was working behind the bar and gave us the history of this long-standint establishment. It has many of the original pieces from when it was an original Schlitz bar.
They serve a full menu of original draughts made right on location.

Great local saloon to hang out at for a drink, Open Milc night every Wednesday night at 7, or Karaoke on Thursdays, or just simply to have a good time with people around you. Melissa, Cheyenne and the other bartender(not sure of her name) are all very kind and caring and will always work their hardest to get EXACTLY what you need

Awesome dive bar in the heart of Excelsior Springs. This unimposing bar features pool tables, TVs, and a collection of vintage and contemporary beer signs.
They also brew their own beer, in house, on a one barrel system. The beer is great, and I recommend trying their Belgian dubble. If you ever find yourself in Excelsior Springs, Mo be sure to stop by the Atlas to wet your whistle.

Very friendly bartender! There’s an authentic connection between this place and the original Schlitz recipe but their version is not exact, and isn’t trying to be. Very good but not exact. I would describe it as a clean dive bar that brews their own beer but serves other brews and alcohol too.

Cheyenne is the hottest bar tender who has ever served me!!
I called ahead of time to make sure they were open. Cheyenne was very hospitable and ensured me they’d be open until 1:30a. Most places around here don’t stay open that late, even on a Friday.

So much fun!! If you stay at The Elms check this bar out. People are so nice! Terry is an amazing bartender and Jimmy the owner is great to talk with. We will be back as much as possible!!!
