Formerly known as Chaiyo Thai Street Food, this restaurant has reopened as Atlantic Sushi Asian Bistro after about four months of remodeling. The new space is bright, clean, and much larger than before, with friendly service that makes you feel welcome right away.
We ordered several Thai dishes, and everything was delicious — it’s nice to see that many of the Thai street food options from the previous menu are still available. The variety and authentic flavors really stand out.
The only minor downside during our visit was that the women’s restroom was out of order, so everyone had to share one bathroom. Hopefully, that will be fixed soon.
One small note — the new name, Atlantic Sushi Asian Bistro, might make you think it’s only Japanese cuisine, but they still serve great Thai food as well. Overall, a great comeback for this spot, and we’ll definitely be returning!

Amazing!!! Rain and Tom are amazing sushi chefs! Presentation was impeccable, everything was fresh and they were all very attentive and personable! Great addition to the neighborhood! Started with complimentary spicy fish salad, a spicy tuna roll, finished with pork fried rice, chicken pad Thai and yellowtail, tuna and salmon sashimi!

This is my go to Thai restaurant in Delray. The new updated ambiance is definitely nicer. I ordered food to eat there & extra food to take to work. “Nuk” the owner is so welcoming & attentive, she understands hospitality & insures quality, cleanliness & attention to detail. I sometimes have special requests & they’ve always been very kind to me. The sushi I got yesterday was Saba & it was so fresh! The duck noodle soup is one of my favorites, it’s so flavorful & yummy! I like to drink Thai tea so it balances out the meal perfectly! I recommend them to everyone & the value certainly feels worth it. Overall, an excellent place for authentic Thai food & sushi.

OK, let me start out by saying this is a grandma grandpa mom and Pop shop! These are the best kinds of restaurants. The family is involved and Service is second to none. Obviously they get very busy because they are very good. Sure you have Asian restaurants and Thai restaurants all over the map. This place has the real deal in the kitchen real authentic Thai cuisine. I know because my wife is from Thailand and I travel to Thailand as often as possible and my pallet does not miss out on what’s real and whats maybe just made for the American pallet! I’m not the only one that feels this way about the place. It’s always packed when we go in there. Definitely add this to your list. If you have not been there it’s a fabulous Thai restaurant to try!

Best food I go to in the last 15 years in Delray Beach. Papaya Salad is the must. Don’t call too spicy if you can not handle the hot. Their street food is the best. Do listen to waiter/waitress advised. I told them will see them tomorrow. That’s how good it is.
Very friendly service. They pay attention to how you feel about the food. I love that.

I was in the area and looking for a new lunchtime Thai restaurant. I found a real gem at Chaiyo Thai Street Food. Excellent all around. I ordered the L17 Angel Eggplant lunch special which included soup or salad and Pad Thai. The soup was excellent. Far better than the typical miso soup. I will be back with friends for more of the delicious Pad Thai.
