Reviews
Parking is conveniently available and free.
The staff is known for their generosity and friendliness.
The ambiance is rated as 4 out of 5.
Regarding the food quality:
The vegetable rolls received a perfect score of 5 out of 5 for both taste and presentation. The Pad Thai and pineapple fried rice were rated 4 out of 5, as they were flavorful, although the level of spiciness was moderate, and while the overall presentation was satisfactory, the taste was somewhat lacking.
In conclusion, it seems to be a favorable Thai restaurant to consider visiting in the town.
Excellent!
We’re from New Jersey and with his own family in Williamsburg. Some in the group had been there before and recommended this Thai restaurant.
Our party of 8 indulged in a variety of appetizers, soup, and entrees. Truth be told, 4 of us had the Crab Meat Fried Rice. This was definitely a sure thing. Your choice of spiciness for fried rice and literally chunks of fresh crab. The spring rolls were served in unique baskets, channeling the shoulder yokes used in many cultures. If you close your eyes, it almost takes you to an exotic land of yore. For a healthier appetizer option, get the lettuce wrap. Perfectly seasoned diced chicken in fresh iceberg lettuce leaves.
SERVICE
Kelly was our server. Pleasant and efficient. Everyone that worked there smiled. Everyone. Our ‘hosts’ are regulars and were greeted with the utmost gratitude by a couple of the servers and even the owner. They have been going there since 2019 and he made it very obvious how appreciative he was
ATMOSPHERE
Beautiful brick facade, great logo.
Inside had two dining areas with plenty of seating. The fauna adorned hanging lights were really nice.
COST
Very reasonable prices. The Crab Fried Rice was market price which still found it under $30.
They serve beer and wine.
MISC
Reservations are recommended for larger parties. 20% gratuity is added for parties over 5. Our server immediately offered separate checks for the four couples which is basically unheard of. This made it so much easier and was definitely reflected in his tip.
Enjoy!
Peace…
I didn’t see this mentioned in the reviews and I was surprised. Perhaps that’s price is comparable to other places in the area?? I don’t know, but The portion we received for the price was small even for one adult. I expected that for $21 dinner portion the food would at least touch the top of the takeout plate.
Food tested good. Just size was disappointing.
Highly recommend Atcha Thai Cuisine for great food and a wonderful atmosphere! ️ I give this place ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ — absolutely worth a visit!
We asked what can be made vegan. Turns out the appetizers are made ahead of time, so the only vegan options available in that section are the fried tofu (A2) fresh roll (A4) and crispy spring roll (A6) as for meals, they said **anything** on the inside of the menu can be made vegan. (that’s basically everything aside from the appetizers and chef’s specials, along with the desserts, but i didn’t specifically ask for clarification on desserts. it’s possible some of those might be veganizable?) either way, it took less than 10 minutes for our food to be prepared, so you might not even need to call ahead. (but we did order around 8 or 9 pm) the people working there were incredibly friendly and kind.
we got the drunken noodles and the crispy spring rolls. both were very good, and hit the spot. the drunken noodles were perfectly chewy with really nice fresh basil flavor. very noodle heavy. it had only about 10 cubes of tofu. we shared it between 2 of us, so it would have been nice to have a tiny bit more tofu. but it was still perfectly filling. and a reasonable serving for 2.
the spring rolls had just the right level of doneness. nice and crisp. flavor was classic crispy spring roll.
Restaurant has two different dining areas with soft seating booths and regular tables. Service was on point – attentive but not overwhelming.
We tried the:
Wonton Soup – broth is perfectly seasoned. Sometimes I find wonton to be on the salty side, not the case with theirs. Plus they add bok choy, scallions and carrots. Dumplings were wonderful too with a blend of chicken and pork.
Massaman Curry – We ordered ours with extra chicken. When I asked if they can hold the peanuts, our server assured me everything is made fresh so I can adjust it if requested! Knowing that made it more appealing.
To Go – We ordered the Green Curry and that was also delectable. So much so, what was supposed to be lunch the next day became a second dinner when we got home. Also tried the Duck in Basil and Eggplant. The duck was cooked perfectly – crispy, tender, and no gamey flavor.
