Not many choices in Swannanoa, but this is a solid option. Really good subs and friendly staff. If you like Greek/Italian places that are reasonable this is your place. We had two subs and two sodas for $25. The subs were really good and pasta salad was decent.

Believe it or not, this place makes some great wings you can get to-go. 10 wings for $10. Makes a great easy dinner for me some nights. Or they do have a dine in only wing night on Tuesdays where wings are .75 cents each. 4 stars only cause the beer selection was kinda basic.

18 years ago my wife and I ordered a to go pizza. We stated very clearly no bell / green peppers we picked it up and brought it home to find it was loaded with bell peppers. Well that was paid for and went straight in the trash. Fast forward 18 years later we still pass them by every day. Thinking we will let bygones be bygones. We tried again for the second time this century. This time with a pastrami sub with provolone lettuce and tomato for myself. The Greek salad was good and my wife’s shells were ok. But my green pepper sub with no provolone lettuce nor tomato made me remember why we didn’t go back. Being alergic to bell peppers there is nothing to do but feed the trash can again. At 62 I will be 80 years old and try again.with luck bell peppers will be thought of as not something everyone looks forward to.

Super friendly staff and great food. They’ve got a pretty large menu, so our entire family is satisfied. My personal favorite is the grilled chicken pita plate. The chicken is always so well marinated and so tender.

Athens Pizza does not value takeout customers!!
I will never support this local restaurant again. This was not my first disappointment, but last week I placed a large takeout order for my office, and the portions were small, there was not enough sauce on the pastas, and the gyro platters were spartan. More importantly, they then, without advance notification, tacked on a 10% takeout fee on our over $100 order AFTER I paid!? Read carefully through the reviews and you will see the low ratings are almost always from takeout customers–they clearly do not want or value that business.

Their Greek chicken salad is amazing and always super fresh. The dressing is the best too! My kids love to eat here too. Steak and cheese subs and spaghetti and meatballs don’t disappoint!! They even bring it out to your car for takeout which is awesome!!

We stumbled on this little place coming home from Gatlinburg and stopped for lunch and it was GREAT! The building (inside & out) looked a little old somewhat outdated, (but hey, those can be some of the best places to eat) and the parking lot was full, so we thought what the heck let’s try it and we were glad we did… The service & food was terrific, and their prices are not too bad. My wife for the spaghetti, salad (and their Homemade Greek Dressing was awesome) & garlic bread. I got the Ham & Cheese sub with Potato Salad, and both were really good and we had plenty enough to bring home for supper. We travel to Gatlinburg often, so we have found a new place to have lunch when coming home…!
