Best restaurant in Loganville. They are consistent. Portions are generous. Not the inflation scale back that you typically see for other spots. This was our first time visiting. The place was clean. The staff was welcoming and the food was delicious. My son is very picky and he enjoyed the chicken over rice plate. I ordered the steak over rice and I was a little disappointed in the steak portion compared to the chicken portion but overall it was very delicious.

I rarely have anything positive to say about my hometown. However, this Greek spot puts some of the bigger city options to shame. Like the Greek I get in Augusta is good enough, this place is next level. I didn’t know what I had til I left.

Everything is reasonably priced, the food is delicious and you get generous portions, what more can you possibly ask for? Their spanakopita and gyros are always worth going out of the way for. Give this spot a try, you won’t regret it.

Stopped by for a family lunch and tried out a few items off the menu. Started off with a Greek salad and had the Greek Pizza and the Souvlaki Rice to eat. Both were made fresh and the taste resembled just that. We weren’t shy from ordering a ton of baklava to go, we can’t wait to come back and try more things.

So glad we tried this spot out. Food was delicious and so was the baklava! I got the super gyro and it was delicious. The guy working the counter was super helpful and patient with us which was much appreciated. Also the sign in the bathroom cracked me up lol

If you’re a real gyro foodie you would like Athena’s. We’re from up north where the gyro options are more traditional which includes an entire breakfast menu, which is the reason behind the 3 stars. The taste and quality are definitely worth the trip and money. Definitely better than any mall gyro you may try. The staff are very friendly, courteous, respectful and eager to fix any misunderstandings, and doing so in a professional manner. Even if it’s crowded the wait isn’t an inconvenient one. They don’t have the gyro philly, but they do have a steak philly that’s similar. You just have to ask for it to be made with gyro meat instead.
All in all Athena’s gets a thumbs from this repeated customer.

– Greek Pizza – thin crust was perfectly crispy and held its weight. The gyro meat was tasty and plentiful. Loved the idea of it and the expectation was met

– Spanakopita platter – included two spanakopitas and a side. Filling was flavorful big with lots of spinach. Went perfect with the tzatziki.

– Chocolate baklava – flaky not to sweet. Good

– coconut baklava – dry could’ve skipped

We ate there, plenty of space to eat and decorated with traditional Greek artifacts. Staff was friendly, I was gifted an evil eye bracelet! Thank you!

The food is good. It would be nice to have a bit more meat over the rice. We bought the steak over rice, so the steak was not much, and it just spread out on top of the rice. It looks like a lot in the picture, but it’s actually not much. Other than that, everything was great.

Definitely have no clue what the 5 stars are all about. The food was no good, good for one time try. Pastries were bad just sugar water and whatever it is made off. Service was very poor, didn’t care about our presence. It’s pick up at counter and dine. Definitely would not return or recommend anybody
