PERFECT!!! Food PERFECT! Location, environment, ambience, PERFECT!

Have dined as a pair and as a larger group. I would come everyday if I could. Staff are attentive and fun. There was a young girl who was vegan that gave fantastic recommendations and was so friendly, so a special shout out goes to her!!!

The tofu steak – out of this world. Fantastic value for money. Miso soup is the best I have ever had. The avocado sushi is so creamy and decadent. The food is something to be proud of. Amazing that it is in Dundalk!!! A large group of us were there for work last week, and still got a few days, and I’m doing everything in my power to try convince everyone to go because everyone must experience Atami. Thank you very much.

Wine served perfectly and crisp.

This place is pretty sugoi. I left feeling quite daijoubu. The atmosphere is very kawaii and nihongo. One thing I would like is more gluten free options onegaishimasu. They only had sashimi without soy sauce which I survived without salmonella but reminded me of the gelatinous glob they eat in saya no uta, dattebayo.

Food and atmosphere are very good. Be prepared to spend a lot of coin here though.

The service was a bit spotty, could not figure out who was waiting on us. They rarely checked on us and we had to flag someone down numerous times to order and ask questions. Took 10 minutes before we could flag someone to get any water or our first drinks.

One of the girls was nice but she was clueless about the menu items. We wanted to get some sushi rolls but the menu did not have descriptions of what types of fish were in them.

However, that being said, the sushi is very GOOD. My husband enjoyed a huge bowl of chicken ramen. The sea bass nigiri is excellent.

Great Spanish house white wine.

A very enjoyable meal.

Really great food, very tasty. I would express my complain that when i required a dish without chicken, they still brought it with pieces of chicken in it. As I am on a fasting period I would like to have more options while ordering. Of course fasting is a rare thing in Ireland so I understand the managers as well.

Most probably my favourite Japanese that I have tried in Ireland so far. The food is full of umami rich flavour, staff were very friendly, location is great and the atmosphere of the restaurant is very authentic. I got the Unagi Don and the eel flavour was excellent

Really nice and fresh Japanese cousine. We got variety of dishes and everything was absolutely lovely. Place can get quite busy so reservations are advisable. Staff were friendly and we didn’t have to wait for dishes to come out long. Worth a visit.

Generous portions and warm hospitality! The food good. The waitress was cute and attentive, and they even offered complimentary tea (comes with food). I’d love to try their stir fries and sushi next time; they look delicious!

They play English hit list, lads calm Japanese music would fit here! They are lovely.

+Clean bathroom, and I saw that kitchen staff use gloves

I’ve been eating in this place for so long and all I can say is that I simply love it, the food, the vibe, the staff (everyone is so kind and welcoming) my favourite food is by far Beef Ramen, but I also love Chicken Sushi Rolls and many many more, but as my comfort food I’ll always order a beef ramen.

Stopped in on a whim on our way home, very tasty sushi! We went in when slightly busy so food wasn’t as quick but worth the wait. Only bad thing is wayyyy too much spicy sauce on the tuna maki.

Great spot to taste some vegan Japanese food! The avocado salad is very fresh and nearly creamy, worth a shot vegan or not. The Tofu steak comes in a huge portion and the teriyaki sauce is delicious. The extras in this restaurant take it to the 5 star mark with a complimentary tea to start and a miso soup served with certain dishes, overall a must visit in Dundalk
