This place has been an Addison stable since before I moved to DFW 10+ years ago. It really embodies the European/French cafe style that so few places in DFW do. I did not eat during this visit, but the cocktails were great, and the ambiance was cozy. The wine list of wines by the glass are shorter than some winebats, but they looked like they had some interesting options.

Astoria is cozy. Limited indoor and outdoor seating. Service is a bit slow. Nice place to grab lunch or work if you’re near by. I enjoyed my coffee here. The food is a little pricey and the quality is ok.

Astoria is a slice of European culinary delicacy. The freshness of both the atmosphere and ingredients brings the dishes to life. I recommend the breakfast and brunch experience, and perhaps swing by for dessert and coffee after a meal and walk through Addison circle.

It’s a great little spot to check out. The coffee and wine menu have a great variety. I’ve the the avocado toast and some desserts here. Each slice of cheese cake runs about $10. This was my second and last time stopping at this place for coffee. It’s very unfortunate that the service does not match the quality of food. Both times that I have been here, the service was mediocre and the servers were rude; Slow to check on the tables, miserable attitude, and inattentive staff.

This wine cafe has the most authentic European vibes. Whether you’re on a date, meeting friends, or even on your own you will receive the best quality of service from this family owned business. We love coming here for coffee and cake but have also enjoyed evenings with some wine and ambient music. The coffee is divine, the food is simple and desserts are delicious. The variety of wines is impressive and we’ve never been disappointment with the quality.

My two stars come from the atmosphere I really like it especially on a nice warm summer night. Other than that this will probably be my last visit. The first time I came it was nice. I had no issues and I enjoyed myself. The second time I came, I actually ordered food and that’s where the problems began. Apparently they don’t take too kindly to those who Don’t eat meat and find it very offputting so although my waiter was nice, he definitely let me know that the staff or management wasn’t too fond of my food choices. I came again because I really like the atmosphere and the first two waiters were cool. This time I had a very rude waiter he came to the table After, I sat and waited for about 10 minutes and asked if I was ready to order I said yes but the person I was with seemed a little unsure so he very directly told me that I would have to wait until my friend was ready to order before I could order. He then proceeds to bring my friend’s order out about 10 or 15 minutes before mine at the end of the night I asked him for the check it took him about 20 minutes to close this out. He was very inattentive and I can’t prove this, but I’m pretty sure he Made it seem like something was wrong with my card so I had to use a different one when I’ve never had any issues with my card. If your goal was to get a customer such as myself to stop coming, you win. The food is mediocre.

Let me start by saying that the location is very nice and some of the servers are very nice. The owners, the wife of the owner especially, is the rudest person you will ever meet! Not only once, but couple of times she decides to come to your table and take your plate or cup or whatever you have in front of you and say: I’m going to move you to this other table because my friends are coming and I will seat them here! If you want to deal with rude owners and you want to be treated poorly, then go here! She has no respect for the servers either. If by mistake they bring you the wrong coffee or give you an extra sugar, she will hold money from the servers! They have no idea what customer service means. Avoid this place as the plague!
