Really good Italian food in a mall restaurant. On Level 1, tucked next to Macy’s, The Chicken Marsala is a tender breaded chicken breast. The default pasta is Linguine. The special was Chicken and Shrimp Diablo; the small chicken pieces and shrimp were overcooked; it was not spicy. There is a fairly extensive wine list, continental and Napa. Service was good.

You cannot go wrong with the selection of veal, chicken, veggy, and seafood pasta options. My family and I had a variety of dishes…I got veal alla sorentino. For the price, large portions, and the free table side bread, we visit this or the kahala restaurant a couple times a year…earliest memory is from high school.
There is no background music playing, just a nice atmosphere with people all around you chatting, eatting, drinking, and enjoying themselves.

This was one of the best places we ate while visiting Oahu. The food is a little more than your average meal but the freshness and quality is well worth the cost. If you purchase a large meal it is plenty for two people or plan on having left overs. We definitely enjoyed ourselves.

When we were placing our order, the manager kept getting angry, saying it wasn’t his job but the waiter’s, and even slammed the condiment bottles down on the table. All six of us were so shocked that we couldn’t eat, and some of us even felt sick and had to take medicine. We went there to celebrate a birthday, thinking it was a high-class restaurant, but we were truly shocked to experience such rude behavior from the manager, who kept making harsh expressions and using rough language. Customers shouldn’t be expected to know about the staff’s positions, and employees should treat the business as their own, yet we received such disrespectful treatment. We couldn’t trust the food anymore and had to stop eating because we were worried about what might have been done to it. I wonder if the owner is aware of this kind of behavior happening in their restaurant…

Always had service staff close by to take care.
For example, I dropped a fork on the floor and was replaced immediately. Empty plates were cleared from the table.
Meal size was very generous and able to take left overs home.
Highly recomend.

Big Fish Dive Club
It’s a solid 4* for its food and service. A very extensive menu of traditional Italian fares, so you don’t find any “fusion” or Hawaiian-Italian food here I had the sausage olio pasta. By the way, I’ve never seen sausages cut into such large pieces, not in Italy or anywhere on the mainland. They have to be cut into bite size. It tasted good and the quantity was plentiful. Most items on the menu can be ordered either in small or large. I opted for a large and it was too much for me. All in all, it’s a decent place for Italian pastas.

Came for a simple lunch – the salad was really fresh, the crispy potatoes delicious (crispy on the outside, super fluffy on the inside). The wait staff were attentive and friendly!
