I understand that times have been tough on restaurants lately. Unfortunately that is the same for myself and I can’t afford to spend $9.50 on a pint of extremely starchy vegetable fried rice with 3 peas, a couple of small pieces of carrot, two small pieces of zucchini and half a peapod. Nor can I afford to buy a $13.99 Dinner combo that had similar fried rice, terriyaki with little to no teriyaki sauce and didn’t taste like beef we’re used to. Asked for forks and received one so we took turns eating. We will not be returning.

My husband and I are truckers and were passing through around 9:15pm. We were starving and everything we passed was closed. These guys were open until 10pm. We walked in and the owner said he was only doing Togo orders, they had been so slow that he was closing early. (No biggie at all) he saw that we were driving a semi and offered to let us sit down and eat. We declined (we didn’t want to hold him up). He took our order and went back to the kitchen to make our meal fresh. We really appreciated the kindness of him! We don’t see that too often in the trucker world! To make things even better, the food was AMAZING!! Thanks so much!

I almost never write a negative review, but: This was the worst food I’ve been served at a restaurant in a long time. The soup had little flavor and the wontons had to be days old. The pork tasted faintly of petrol, the pu pu platter was supposed to have shrimp, but didn’t. The egg roll was cooked in oil that was not hot enough and was soggy. The garlic sauce on my vegetable dish was bitter, as was the tofu in it. After tasting, I threw the rest out – I was concerned for my health. The service was cheerful but slow with a more interesting conversation going on in the kitchen it seems, and the dining room was filthy, as in coated with dirty grease with a greasy-dusty coating on everything hanging from the ceiling – the paper screens in the windows were dingey gray. The walls and doors had layers of dirty hand prints from years of neglect.This place should be let go and not kept in this miserable existence – the owners should let it die. I do not recommend eating here.

Best Chinese in Brattleboro AND they deliver!!! I freaking love the general tso chicken and their crab rangoons have so much flavour and always arrive hot and crispy. Philly roll is also a favourite.
