We were blessed to drive by this amazing restaurant.
The food is delicious, the service is kind and attentive, the portions are generous, the prices are fair, the restaurant is clean, and the atmosphere is great. We were glad to find vegetarian choices in their menu.
I have only positive comments about this place. I hope that for our next visit to Milwaukee we can have the opportunity to eat there again.
Thank you kindly for a wonderful experience. We highly recommend this restaurant.
Ordered take out last night, Christmas Day, only because Emperor of China on Brady was no longer taking orders. Was told to come in 45 minutes, I came an hour later. It was busy when we got there which was expected, and we were told our food would be out in 2 minutes. An hour later we were still waiting with several other people who were waiting just as long, constantly being told 2 more minutes. The whole time, they are continuing to take more orders. I get it was busy but just tell people the correct wait times so we can come at the right time.
Finally got the food, but unfortunately it was an even bigger disappointment.
The fried rice is made with the completely wrong rice. Tastes like it was made with the cheapest rice they could get, the only other ingredient being the rare carrot or pea.
The sesame chicken was basically just bad breading and whatever piece of junk fell off the chicken when they were processing it at some mega factory.
The Lo Mein was a tasteless greasy plate of disappointment as well.
Something definitely changed here in the last few years… used to be somewhat good when I lived in the UWM dorms across the street and you can tell the food in the pictures from years ago looks totally different. Can’t believe this place is still open when there are so much better places for the same price out there…. You guys should be ashamed.
The broccoli beef was fatty slices of beef smothered in sauce, and similar with the cashew chicken. Both dishes had vegetables that were not severely undercooked (crunchy, but not in the right kind of way) Both entrees also lacked depth of flavor- as if they had been cooked as independently components and then smothered in a sauce.
Vegetarian eggroll is not good, but the chicken eggroll, on the other hand, had a nice lemongrass flavor- I liked that.
The chicken wings were essentially fried chicken, but they were juicy and had good flavor as well!
They also forgot one item in my order 🙁
I would not recommend this place to anyone for Chinese food, but for inexpensive Chinese food, perhaps.
I wouldn’t expect that I can eat such a decent Chinese food here. However all the meals are thicken a bit too much.
We wait at least 30-40 minutes for our meals to be arrived at the Saturday night.
The poke bowl was Very,Very Flavorful.
If you’re looking for a mouth full of power packing flavor my i suggest this spot,i will definitely be back and i will be trying their ramen next time……
