We’ve been getting Asian Express since 2010 and love it!!! They have the best pork fried rice and chicken chow mein. Recently we ordered our favorites and the size of white rice that comes with the food was extremely small, like the size of a child’s school milk carton. Usually, it’s the same size of the food.

Ordered beef fried rice spicy and egg rolls to be delivered. . I ate 1/2 of it and only 5 pieces of beef, there is no more beef ! yes I counted lol. For what they charge I won’t be ordering thru them. FYI the egg rolls were sweet ??? Don’t think they are suppose to be sweet. This was w/out the sweet n sour sauce ! The pop was good

I’ve been a resident of Eden Prairie for a decade, and I can’t believe I waited this long to try Asian Express. Despite regularly dining at Mandarin Kitchen, Peking Garden, Village Wok, and Hunan Restaurant, Asian Express has surpassed my expectations. The orange chicken was a delightful surprise – not overly breaded, with generous chunks of chicken. The beef and broccoli were flavorful, and the salt and pepper squid, my personal favorite, was not only delicious but also affordable with generous portions. Unlike other places with pricey calamari and smaller servings, Asian Express stands out. The chicken lo mein was another winner, and even the small order was ample for sharing. Without a doubt, Asian Express is now my top choice for Chinese cuisine in the west metro.

I would give zero stars if I could. We placed an online order for about $40. We drove to this new spot because of the good reviews. When we got there, there were no outside lights on, just a blinking open sign. (We would have left then however they had already charged our card. We went in and there was a situation happening…some dude angrily throwing $10 and $50 bills in a table. (I felt like I stepped into an Asian gang) Nobody greeted us. Then some lady asked if we got take out. We took our bag that we had previously paid for. All the way home I smelled this nasty disgusting smell coming from the “food” It was like a rancid oil smell. The order was inedible. So disgusted with the service and the “food” Do NOT waste your $$$ here.

Food is alright. I got the dinner special here and thought the portions were small, but still thought the food was good. Fast forward to another time; I got lunch, and the portions were much smaller, and the crab rangoons were empty, with little taste of crab.

The food is so great I had to take a picture and let everyone on the Internet know. My husband says it smells like Hong Kong and they have a secret menu “so its legit!” His words. For me, it’s great but they could use more vegetarian options. I recommend the House Special Rice, Egg Fu Young, all the tofu dishes, Sweet Sour Pork, Egg Flour Soup, ribs, calamari and appetizers.

I will be contacting the food department tomorrow to report your alarming and reckless disregard for public health. This establishment brazenly ignores fundamental food safety protocols by half-frying chicken in large batches and allowing it to sit at room temperature, exposed and unrefrigerated, next to the fryer for the entire day. This isn’t just ‘laziness’; it’s a deliberate and dangerous practice that violates basic safety standards and puts every customer at risk of serious foodborne illness. Portions are then re-fried only as orders come in, a clear compromise of both freshness and safety.

Usually love the food. Tonight, I got egg fu young. Hair was baked into it. The photo is of a whole piece I took from my mouth just from trying to pull the hair, thinking it was my own. I didn’t cook the food, nor deliver. Hair was cooked into the food!!
